The Tennessee offense ran more 12 personnel against NC State than they have in the 3 years Josh has been there. Thats a wrinkle that’s gonna help them run the ball against teams like Alabama and Georgia. Instead of just running 20-30 zone runs a game. Another crazy stat from the game is James Pearce played 29 snaps and was the only defensive lineman that played over 25 snaps. #55 looked amazing like Cole said and only played 14 snaps. Tennessee now has the most variable offense in the country, a top 5 run blocking Oline in CFB, the deepest defensive line and the best defensive lineman in CFB. This is the first Tennessee team I’ve seen that doesn’t need some teams at the top to come out flat/struggle with turnovers to win. They can beat anybody in the country going best on best

John Campbell and spraggins did that same style block against UTC as well they have created a really amazing mesh together... Moving sides might just have increased John Campbells draft stock

It's been a while since I've seen an offense self-destruct like Kentucky did Saturday. ELEVEN penalties! On back-to-back-to-back penalties in just one possession, they erased 45 yards of rushing offense. Nobody can win doing crap like that.
Edit: Not to take anything away from South Carolina, because they more than did what they needed to do to win.

Thanks for mentioning that holding call in the Texas game I seen it live and did not think it was a hold I thought the defender got pancaked. Haven’t heard anyone else discuss it.

Great stuff as usual Cole - consistently the best detailed analysis in CFB. I can't wait to see LSU in Williams Brice this weekend. Like you said, its gonna be a heavyweight dogfight that should result in a great game. Hoping my Gamecocks can bring the heat on D again and that LaNorris Sellers continues to grow and progress. The Tigers are in for a serious battle.... GO COCKS !!

    Texas,
Way to represent the SEC Texas in your stomping of Michigan. Good job showing other conferences they dont belong on the field with us.
That said, we'll seeing you soon enough if you keep it up in conf. 😁

I think one big issue right now across the entire NCAA and even pro's to a degree (mostly off field for the pro's). The issue is discipline. I mean I have seen WAY TOO MUCH talking, pushing, late hits, ignoring the referees and coaches constantly. These players are costing their teams big time and if they dont squash it then its going to cost some a game.

As an Auburn fan I'm officially done with Thorne. The 2 ints that he was hit on he had guys wide open but he held the ball way too long. You're a 5th year senior!! Some of these throws he missed badly are throws he been throwing since youth league. So glad he is gone after this season.

Freeze is great recruiter and a bad coach. Its like the 2 Ole Miss-Alabama games were the only ones anyone at Auburn ever watched. Dod yall forget the ass kickings he took from teams like Missouri and Wake Forest?

Cole will you be on the sidelines for LSU vs Carolina? No better environment for the big game. Shame it’s not a night game. SEC has to do better than that. Incompetent scheduling
