It's time for international students from less developed or developing countries to realize they are not a priority regardless of the high tuition fee they are paying to study in Canada. International students systemically pay huge tuition to fund other categories of immigrants and especially refugees. Look for options elsewhere if you’ll like to study abroad

Question about the last example for French: How did the individual extended or went back to the study permit? Is there are a program specific for that? Your answer is highly appreciated!

Well, I have no choice, my profession "Mechanical Engineer" doesn't exist in the PR Indicator. It's strange because I know that there are so many Mechanical Engineers working in Canada, I talked to them all days via "Microsoft Teams", the Company where I worked has three offices in Canada

Hey I started school in January before the new law implemented by ircc, and my wife was denied a work permit. If she reapplied now would it have to be in the parameters of the new law being that I would have to be doing a masters instead of an degree

Dear Max, do you think the French Express Entry category will stay open for another year?
I’m a native Spanish speaker, I’m pretty good with Romance languages as I certified a B2 level in Italian in just five months.
Confident I can do the same with French, aiming to finish within a year

Here: At some point during the application process, the post-secondary institution will submit a request for a PAL for you. When the request is approved by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) and the PAL is available, you will be notified by the institution, and you will receive a copy of the letter. The notification and sharing process may be different for each institution.
To be clear, you will not be required to request a PAL. The college will do this on your behalf.
After you receive your PAL, you must submit it to the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) with your study permit application, payment receipt, and Letter of Offer from the institution.

We Filipinos loved Canada. So we're preparing hundreds of thousands of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to send there. In time, Filipinos will build a lot communities there. And in the future, cities will be filled with Half Filipino: Half Canadian as we Procreate with the Canadians until we finally rpl@ce them. Mabuhay! 👊

As an international student, After doing my masters in Canada, if stay in Canda and if I work a remote full time job instead of a office desk job , can I still get PR? or do I need to work inside a office to be eligible for PR.
It would be really helpful if you can answer this as I don't see anyone talking about remote fulltime jobs.

The worst aspect of these changes is that it’s all unfolding after millions of us moved to the country with all our savings. Had we known this will happen we would have picked a different country… listening to ministers blame us for the housing problem is very frustrating. Needless to say, many of us will not be voting for this liberal party when we are eligible. Just because we are not voters, does not mean we are less than Canadian citizens.

@@parker9269I sympathize with the children of the poor ones who have to stay back and fight in trenches.
Not the ones who were rich enough to bribe the govt to let their children go abroad to Canada and EU where they buy luxury cars and apartments in cash when locals can’t even afford to pay rent.
The Ukraine war is another liberal scam and our media publicizes it more because they are blonde with blue eyes.

@@parker9269let’s be real, each Ukrainian refugee gets $3000 one off payment when they get to Canada. They also get healthcare automatically without having to wait. They don’t have to pay for processing their paperwork when applying for PR. Ukrainians are not going anywhere. Canada wants Ukrainian citizens compared to other immigrants. Some people says it’s unfair, which I think it is because other current wars such as the war in Gaza, but you hardly see any help given to Palestines.

i applied for TRP last month due to falling out of status after graduating, there were no jobs to maintain my pgwp and it expired. I have applied to public Universities to upgrade my degree, but seeing how many changes are being made, all my paths to try and legalize my status are thinning out and will be gone by the time i even get my TRP, as processing times for situations as complex as mine are taking 1 to 1 1/2 years, and i am 28 going on 29 in November...

    • @nightwatch2686

I’m in the same boat. Got a business degree from a well known public university but could never land a job as Covid hit right after I graduated.
I focused on building skills and what I have going for me is that I have a decent 6 fig income self employed and half of it is not location dependent.
Worse case scenario if things don’t work out in Canada which is already turning into a dumpster fire I’d rather lose half my income and move to another country like Morocco or Spain.
Look into 00 Noc code occupations/Owner Operator LMIA and starting your own business while you are waiting and learn some skills. It’s hard to find jobs but it’s easier to start a business. I have friends who got a loan on a 4 ton truck and starting moving/Dumping company making 20-40k revenue a month.
There’s lots to do in Canada.
