I work as a bartender on our state Air Force base. For my first 2 years I made 10.05 an hour under Trump . When This Administration took office our pay went up to $15.00 an hour. President Biden signed an executive order raising the minimum wage for the workers of the airbase. We are also part of a union and now my pay is $20.05 after almost 6 years. None of our pay comes from the Government, our facilities make our own money to pay us 😮 (NAF). We’ve been able to purchase a brand new car and I’m not living paycheck to paycheck. It’s been a blessing. We work even harder with pride because of our pay. It’s time big Corporations pay $15.00 an hour.
