Depende po sa angle location. Since nasa X axis or horizontal side yung angle given, kaya po Sin. If si angle ay nakadikit sa vertical side or Y-axis, Cos naman. (Applicable kahit baliktad) Masterin mo lang sir SOH-CAH-TOA or mas madali ay kung saang axis nalang nakadikit si Angle. Hehe 😊

Hello. Wala naman po problem if unsymmetrical or symmetrical po ang given na loadings as long as alam po ninyo ang mga ss: 1. How to solve the reaction; 2. How to use the method of section and method of joints; 3. How to use the 3 equilibrium equations. Kasi, specific way of solution po ang tinatanong at hinahanap po ninyo, hindi yung concept ang hinahanap po ninyo, kaya magkakaproblema po talaga kayo. Solution based is very different with concept based kasi yung pagkakasunud sunod ng process hinahanap po ninyo, pero sa concept based, kahit iba ibahin ang given, if alam po ninyo ang concept, hindi kayo mahihirapang pagbali-baliktarin ang pagsolve ng isang problem. Depende po yun sa assumption, hindi po sa sign. If nagassume ka sa type of force, at kapag positive ang lumabas, meaning tama assumption mo. For example, assumption mo sa AB is Tension, at BC is Compression, kapag positive ang magnitude, meaning tama na sila at Tension at Compression, respectively. Kapag naman negative, mali ang assumption. (Sorry po. Kakatapos lang po kasi ng compre exam namin sa masteral, kaya talagang hindi makasagot.)
Check niyo po engr yung mga position ng A, B, and C mo sa Mode 5 mo. Dapat kasi same lang sa format na meron sa calcu. In our case, sa calcu kasi namin, kung paano namin sinulat yung Eq. 1 and 2, ganun din ang format sa calcu namin, kaya ganun din ang way ng paginput ng aming values sa calcu.
Hello. We use the sign convention for equilibrium so we can conclude if our assumed direction, rotation, or type of force (compression or tension) is correct. Now, if it is positive, then correct ang assumption natin. If negative, then mali ang assumption natin, then itatama lang natin yung direction, rotation, or type of force.

Not necessarily maling ang lahat ng equation and solution mo. Possible mali lang ang direction na inassume mong direction or rotation. Sign convention lang naman ang magkakatalo pagdating sa mga assumed directions e. Hindi apektado ang solution, not unless na 'di niyo po alam ang concept, then mali po ang solution kapag ganun. @@maricarufana89 before using this type of "rule" we should first determine and prioritize that the angle given should be with respect to the x axis. if the angle is given with respect to the y axis, then this "rule" should be the other way around.

Depende po sa angle location. Since nasa X axis or horizontal side yung angle given, kaya po Sin. If si angle ay nakadikit sa vertical side or Y-axis, Cos naman. (Applicable kahit baliktad)

Hello. Wala naman po problem if unsymmetrical or symmetrical po ang given na loadings as long as alam po ninyo ang mga ss:
1. How to solve the reaction;
2. How to use the method of section and method of joints;
3. How to use the 3 equilibrium equations.
Kasi, specific way of solution po ang tinatanong at hinahanap po ninyo, hindi yung concept ang hinahanap po ninyo, kaya magkakaproblema po talaga kayo. Solution based is very different with concept based kasi yung pagkakasunud sunod ng process hinahanap po ninyo, pero sa concept based, kahit iba ibahin ang given, if alam po ninyo ang concept, hindi kayo mahihirapang pagbali-baliktarin ang pagsolve ng isang problem. So, better to pratice muna po yung 3 steps po na binanggit po namin.

We don't see the connection of having 1 tension and 1 compression in 2 equation.. pakielaborate po engr.

Depende po yun sa assumption, hindi po sa sign.
If nagassume ka sa type of force, at kapag positive ang lumabas, meaning tama assumption mo. For example, assumption mo sa AB is Tension, at BC is Compression, kapag positive ang magnitude, meaning tama na sila at Tension at Compression, respectively. Kapag naman negative, mali ang assumption.

Hello. We use the sign convention for equilibrium so we can conclude if our assumed direction, rotation, or type of force (compression or tension) is correct. Now, if it is positive, then correct ang assumption natin. If negative, then mali ang assumption natin, then itatama lang natin yung direction, rotation, or type of force.

Not necessarily maling ang lahat ng equation and solution mo. Possible mali lang ang direction na inassume mong direction or rotation. Sign convention lang naman ang magkakatalo pagdating sa mga assumed directions e. Hindi apektado ang solution, not unless na 'di niyo po alam ang concept, then mali po ang solution kapag ganun.
