As a Jersey lifer, I have to agree with him. But if you take accessibility into account, I think you have to give Bergen County the edge. Hudson County is just a major pain in the ass to get around in. And if you're not using public transportation, which, let's face it, is risky these days, it's going to take forever and a day to get where you're trying to go. Just about every major highway in New Jersey goes through some parts of Bergen County. And while there is traffic, it's nothing like the congestion in Hudson County.
I agree with all these perspectives EXCEPT Monmouth County. That sounds like a biased choice (perhaps he has a shore house so he is eating out in that area more often).
How are you not going to mention Valencia in Elizabeth or any of the delicious restaurants Newark has to offer seriously but you mention tops ? Tops is over rated and over priced a real opinion would be nice .
Valencia is amazing in union county Elizabeth but tops is more a classic diner experience. Valencia’s is more affordable fancy dining. They have a dry aged steak to die for in Elizabeth 💪👍
Newark and Harrison are Essex county buddy boy… but I do agree that Hudson is still better than Essex! Union county has some good Italian and amazing Indian, followed by middlesex county.
toms river has the best pizza in jersey joey d on 37 if its still open and el familiar is the best spanish food also in toms river oh and i dont even live in toms river so yea
