Very interesting! That wing looks like a modelling masterpiece and those control mixes would've given me a brain burst. A suggestion - put the wheels about 2 inches back, a smidgeon in front of the balance point ,to prevent those ground loops on landing. Nice one!!!

I want to say thanks to RICHARD for the Awesome Videoing , and also thanks to LENKA from TOPMODELCZ in the Czech Republic for the 200mm wheels, I love them. The Plane is a Senior Telemaster ARF 96" wing, I removed the covering and reinforced the fuselage, turned the horizontal tail upside down to put down force on the tail instead of lifting it. To get the flaperons outside of the boundary layer I used Junker type Flaperons. I also built a new fin and rudder same size and air foiled it. The tail and rudder are removeable. Landing Gear design is from the Pilatus PC-6 Porter. (coming soon). With the new wheels the TELE now weighs a whooping 19lbs. The engine is a DLE-20 with a 18-4 Airflow wood prop, the tuned pipe is just to keep the noise down. I am impressed how that little DLE Flys this thing around. I read a lot of info, Atatomy of a STOL Aircraftby Chris Heintz, and a lot of stuff by NASA, and watched a lot of flying videos from Valdez ,Alaska. Thanks for watching; Mike Marsh

I have to many planes , my DAD passed away 2 years ago and I now have all of his war birds and many others, my son and I have flown maybe 1/4 of them. I am planning on going to the airport here in Big Bear Ca. and putting all my planes out for display and taking pictures and maybe selling some . I have given all my kids one of there Grand Dad"s war birds to hang up. My Son , my Dad and I got to fly together about a year before he passed. I have some war birds that are about 50 years old and still in flying condition, 5 pattern planes from the 70's that I LOVE to fly I could go on for ever about my DAD and my R.C. flying experience but I better stop now. Thanks for sharing all that information. I always wondered why the Senior Telemaster had the lifting horizontal stab. If I had built one I would also have inverted it. Say - did you notice improvement with the slats? I have been playing with the idea of STOL and slats, but have not found much information on slat performance and settings (best gap, etc) at the low Reynolds numbers our models fly at. From the video I am under the impression that your slats are adjustable, I'm guessing you tuned them for best effect? Care to comment on your experience on building and flying as far as the slats go? ...Great model, kudos for all the great ideas.

What's the weight? Seems to be quite some more than the 6 pounds they used to be.
