- Gold Medallist Neeraj Chopra To NDTV: Neeraj Chopra is the new poster boy of Indian sports after making history at the Tokyo Olympics. He is the first Indian to win an Olympic gold in athletics following his stupendous performance in Tokyo. However, the 23-year-old star javelin thrower said he wants to remain focused on his game and doesn't want the success to go to his head. Neeraj Chopra, during an exclusive chat with NDTV, said that during the Tokyo Olympics his sole focus was on doing well and he knew good things would follow.

Notice his first words to the question what he feels on being a superstar essentially " Boht khushi huwi ki mein desh ka kaam a saka aur hamare dusre athletes ne bhi boht acha kiya toh desh ke liye boht acha geya" man doesn't even talk about himself and just is happy about the fact that he could help his country. Unreal level of humbleness which will take this guy far in life tbh.

The government spent Rs 4 crore on Neeraj's training. Every medalist has given credit to SAI and the government. Just raw talent won't get you a medal in Olympics. Neeraj's talent and hard work and training/facilities helped him to get a medal. Don't comment stupid things

I observed one thing that this journalist should really learn how to speak consistent one language throughout the conversation. Seems like the journalist could speak in Hindi language but is not able to consistently have this conversation with Neerak Chopra. Also, the language and journalist should be chosen according to the person they want to interview in order to make the person comfortable and make the interview more interesting.
And he kept cutting him off at the end of his sentences.
