Thank you sooo much! I hated this kind of turnaments, bc I was not efficient with it. Now I hold the key in my hand to make actually good choices between time management, energy costs and efficiency and going after better gear. This is a great sheet to find your personal sweet spot for all of this. Can´t thank you enough, this is a game changer for me!
You are welcome! That's what I was hoping to accomplish with this video. Turn attack tournaments are actually really great for players, so I just wanted to lower the bar to entry by clarifying the whole system. Good luck with the tournaments this week!
Incredible video! Love the "normal" videos you put out, but making one to the community with these tournaments is brilliant. Just a side note to all, Spider has a different point max for the snow point and different values for the turns you take, so might be a good idea if you're creating this table for yourselves to make one for each dungeon so you don't have to keep changing the values over the next couple days.
The only other thing to consider is that some levels have less def and HP then others and NOT necessarily lower levels.. Example... Hard 6 has champs with lees HP and Def then Hard 5. So you might be able to clear a higher level faster. For me, I can do Hard 6 faster and less turns than hard 5. Hard 2, then Hard 6, then hard 10... THAT'S the "check points" in hard FK. If you cant do 10, then do 6, if you can't do 6, then do hard 2. If you cant do Hard, then normal 20 is the best
Well, sort of. There's also speed to consider, especially the speed of the boss (and the speed of your champs, which can affect where your cooldowns fall). So sometimes you'll clear the waves great but get stuck on the boss, or vice-versa. You have to test to find out what's going to get your best result. So, it's not just 10, 6, 2, or 20 for everyone. For me, for instance, FK 8 was better than 10 for a long time. And normal 17 will be better than 20 for a lot of people as well. Thanks for the comment! 👍
I'm pretty happy with my FK Hard 10 team, average like 100 turns 3:30 mins, the level of gear is also a consideration if you want to keep your account the most efficient.
Congrats! That's a nice FK10 result. Took me a long time to get my team to 10. As for efficiency, there are all sorts of efficiencies we could discuss - energy, time, gear, silver, etc. So, yeah, there's always more to discuss in RAID, that's for sure.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I just was able to get it when I got mikage! Also the FK is not supposed to take a turn but in the case it does 4 of my 5 champs for some reason survive the hit consistently and even bad luck runs can win so the consistency is really high!
Thanks for the overview! Of course, sometimes other factors also play a role, like actually wanting to farm the dungeon anyway and hoping for those mythical artifacts for the Marius mission 😢😂
Very true! That's one of the reasons why I farm HM10 even though it's not necessarily my most energy efficient stage. But it still helps to know which stage IS most efficient, especially if I'm trying to conserve energy for some reason. 👍
of course, even if a harder level is a little worse, it might be worth doing for some useful gear. Assuming time itself isn't a major concern - which it all too often is.
Of course! That's why I am farming FK stage 10 hard mode. It's not my most efficient stage, though it's still pretty good, but the gear is the best possible!
Something to think about is that a 'Dungeon Diver' type event is usually taking place during the turn attack tourney and running on hard should do better in points for Dungeon Divers. I run Dragon H2 and can get 48-49 pts per run, my Dragon N20 gets 36-37 pts per run. I am going to try my Dragon H2 team on N23 to see if that does better or not in terms of efficiency.
True. But then, to be thorough, you have to do a comparison with the "left over" energy. But it's always good to consider the opportunity costs of these kinds of decisions.
I don't. But the total energy needed is just this: Energy Goal/(points result/stage energy). The easiest way to do it on paper is to take your point result for one run (say 40 points on Stage 17 of normal) and divide it by the energy for that stage (16 energy for stage 17), and that give you your points per energy rate (40/16 = 2.5 points per energy). Then you divide your points goal by that number, and that gives you the total energy you'll need to spend to reach those points (2650/2.5 = 1060 energy). I hope that helps!
That's a very nice return. I can do that for some tournaments (like Spider is very easy for that). For FK, I'm generally happy with anything over 2pts per energy.
I wonder what would be the most efficient incorporating this with silver gains and leveling food - for example, the Spider TAT is currently active and my Staltus can happily solo up to 15, haven't tried to solo 16 because of the affinity but I can do 20, just not solo; Stage 2, 6, 10 and 14 are Magic affinity though so it's those I like to solo with Staltus and the points are 13, 19, 18 and 16, so stage 6 is the most efficient for points but the silver and xp gains go down substantially, where I think 14 is the best so maybe 10 is the best to double/triple dip?
Lol! I HAVE covered turn attack tournaments for every dungeon in the past, so if you need suggestions, you can search for those videos. I'm sure I'll update them again at some point, but it's not a priority right now, sorry.
The fact that your intro music did not play is easily the worst thing to happen to me this week. It's so good!

Normal 5-10 is often a sweet spot for efficiency for both energy and time, especially time, even if you can do hard 10.

Do you have a link to the Spread sheet you are using or somewhere to see the Formulas you used to calculate the numbers from plugging in the numbers?
