As hinted by previous tornado siren test of the Thunderbeam in Battle Creek, I made it out for one last tornado siren test of 2023! Before I got to the siren, I was filming trains and I almost missed the test because I really wanted to catch a train that was nearby. Luckily for me, I made it just in time for the test with about 1 or 2 minutes to spare! This is a Whelen WPS-3016 siren, and the overall test itself is very similar to the Rainbow Modulator, except the fact that this siren rotates unlike Modulators. The siren announces the test 4 times before sounding the audible tone for about 3 minutes. Following that, the siren announces the conclusion of the test by repeating it 4 times.
