Apples, palm dates, pears, pomegranates, grapes and various fruits and vegetables were grown in Ghana until Ghana gained independence in 1957, and the Europeans who were the main customers, but not the planters, started leaving Ghana. Some Europeans were said to have destroyed plants on "their land" , before leaving, just as France did in its former colonies, and as other Europeans in Southern Africa and elsewhere in Africa and Asia. Right where the Accra sports stadium is now, used to be a farm where Mr Okwei and others planted and sold different fruits and vegetables and when their land was taken for the stadium project, their business ended.
These venture will thrive in Ghana 🇬🇭 for sure. Farmers in South Africa 🇿🇦 have been growing these crops for years and decades now. This man’s vision and effort must be backed by MOFA and the government to enlarge his vision
The land of Ghana is a land that grow and harvest any fruit or tree on earth, the Land is a promise land and that's what we should understand as Ghanaians and Africans, AFRICA STRONG.

Please, tell him to re-plant the Wambugu apple. It has to be level with the ground, with rather a small basin to catch water. Building up the roots will expose the tree to wind rock and bigger temperature fluctuations. 😬
BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO 👏 🙌 👍 👌 🙏. THANKS
