I love this song. Great choreo. The songs 'Save me' & 'I'm Fine' are connected. If you re-watch V's part in 'Fake Love', on the wall behind him you see "Save Me'. But upside down it's 'I'm Fine'. This mv was done in 1 take. There is a 'behind the scene'(shooting sketch) where we see them filming it, and it was not easy. It was raining, the ground was slippery & it was cold. And we can't forget to praise the camera men who had to learn their own choreography for this. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
JK started getting his tattoos in 2019 so it's not that long ago. But he got more than Jimin right away and have constantly been adding and now has way more than Jimin. JK has his right hand and arm full of different tattoos, first in 2019 they were covered with a glove or tape or blurred too often so we are really happy now when he shows them off more. But in Korea tattoos have been very tabu and not allowed to show any on broadcast etc, now it's actually is getting much better and much less tabu fast. Jimin was first when he got his 'Nevermind' one on his ribcage but then it wasn't until 2020 he got 2 more, '13' on his wrist and 'Young Forever' one word on each arm over the elbows and recently 2 more, 'Youth' behind his ear and a crescent moon just below his neck so he has 6 or 5 if you count Young Forever as one. Of course they might have some in places we haven't seen. Oh and Jimin had a fake version of his Nevermind tattoo and another fake one too on his torso for the 2014 performance where he rips his shirt off, just so you know, the real one came later.
The live performance you watched was a mix of Save Me and I’m Fine (which is a sequel song of sorts). Most of the time when Save Me was performed, they did the portion you saw before shifting to ‘I’m Fine’. But I think there are full performances of ‘Save Me’. If I have to guess, JK got his tattoos around 2019-ish.

one of the memorable fancams of save me performances is when BTS was supposed to perform at this korean show but were cancelled without Notifying BTS AND ARMYS.. A lot of armys were already there, and so...BTS chose to perform without lights, no cameras on.. just for ARMYS.. its heartbreaking but it proves our bond...

Also DJ, since you work with video editing did you notice there was no cut scene in the Save Me MV? It’s a one continuous shot video. This MV was released about the same time as Fire. well tthat. has been a long time i seen anyone react to that version of Save Me / I'm Fine, Im so used to seeing it (SPoiler ) with the turning name. Save Me (2016) was long before the tats of JK (2019). I think he started to show after Fake Love if i'm not mistaken. Save Me and I'm fine got molded together after Fake Love with the Turning mirror writing. They are single live versions of it but after 2019 it was almost always a mix of the two songs Ooh and you guys probs remember Save Me from Tiny Desk Concert & and the infinite room Festa thing :)

I went to see them in LA for PTD and the day before the concert I was talking to my Army friends about which songs we’d probably never get to see live and I said “Save me” and how it was one of my fave choreos and one of my fave songs.
