So I'm the over packer, I have a shower bag because my facility provides a staff shower room but I normally leave my stuff down there in a locker. Then on the unit Break room I'll have my back pack which has feminine wipes deodorant pads tooth brush tooth paste face wash body lotion hair brush hair ties. My work note book (this note book stays at work) lunch box. My fanny pack that stays on me has chap stick hand sanitizer excedrin bandaids cough drops Lidocaine cream, lotion, burn cream, neosporin. I typically work 12s to 18s but sometimes get mandated and I never know what I'll need.
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
I always bring my huge lunch box. Even if I didn’t prep food… it has all my snacks and pills like ibuprofen and water flavor packets. I also bring my matching backpack which has a change of scrubs, socks, makeup bag and essentials, iPad, extra pens and dry erase markers, cheat sheet charts and clipboard with storage, and I keep extra shoes in the car incase of messes. ❤

@@Purppusay If you love people then I say go for it! A lot of CNAs go into the field for the money (they’re starting to pay $22+ now). I always say the best nurses are the ones who genuinely have a love for helping people, & not in it strictly for the money.
@@DeonnaMyleah1 It depends on your company and what they want you to use. My company has us using them. What's more is if you're in home care and you take vitals for some reason you might just want one. If you have the money and you're in it for the long haul I'd invest in one otherwise depending on your company you just may not need one.

I would say some very comfortable shoes compression stocking your on your feet alot!

OH!!! Lotion!! I have 3 different lotions in my backpack because my hospital is super dry and washing my hands constantly is KILLER.
Bring clean underwear, bring the extra uniform, and bring some type of personal disinfected❤❤😂

I just passed my cna skills and written what is the best starter job I’m not so sure about the nursing home
I would say assisted living is always a good start or hospital if you want to go that route!
