If I didn’t watch Taylor wouldn’t I just go with the pack and say he’s an extremely powerful runner? Why would I say the opposite of what the masses think? It would make more sense for me to spew the same jargon if I didn’t watch the tape. I’m telling you what I saw and I saw him running with momentum not necessarily power. Falling down is not the same as falling forward. A lot of the time Taylor is already going down to the ground and he stumbles forward for a couple extra yards. That’s not what falling forward is, falling forward and running with power is going head on with someone and running through them or breaking the tackle which Taylor cannot do in my opinion. And another thing. I’m not saying you can just throw bums out there at WR and RB I’m saying they’re very replaceable and history has shown having a HOF/All pro WR/RB does not lead to success. Only 15 teams have won a Super Bowl with an all pro receiver and only 11 teams have won one with an all pro runningback. They’re the two most dependent positions in football everything around them must go according to plan otherwise they are likely to fail. The o line misses a block, the QB misses a throw, the box is stacked cause there’s no deep threat, receivers are getting double covered cause there’s no ground game. All these things and more are all dependent on the O line, the QB, the play caller, etc. If you have a first round pick I promise you there’s better things you can do with it than draft a runningback.
This is a 12 minute video of opinions. You state your opinion of different running backs with generic highlight tape playing in the background. If you want to really gain credibility, you need to start aligning clips of these players to match your assessment. You state your opinion that a certain player never falls forward. Okay, well why not show us the footage that led you to that belief? You talk about vision a lot too, show us the plays that demonstrated a players good vision. Everyone can watch football highlight videos and form opinions, but it would help set your channel apart if you took the time to actually provide the evidence for your opinions.
Hey man, the thing you clearly missed with Taylor is his balance, and body position. He never is taking on a defender straight on. He doesn't ever try to straight on run someone ever. Thus why you never see him running someone over, because he is putting himself into the correct position to not take on big hits. This is a positive thing for sure, and is something you should've praised. In the last few years I've watched Taylor I do not really recall him ever getting stood up (i'm sure it has happen though of course). Dude Squats over 500 pounds, and consistently sheds off defenders, clearly was one of the fastest RBs in college. Don't blame you though, most people hate to give Wisconsin athletes credit, for some reason people outside of Wisconsin have a natural bias. The only real knock on Taylor which you mentioned is his ball security, very big worries with him there. The comp for Taylor is Bell not Zeke. Patient running, great balance, ,and vision, all around great back with nothing missing. Maybe it was because you saw Zeke in Taylor that you made the "power" comment. Keep up the hustle though, takes a lot to put content out there. Sometimes you will have a take like Taylor's that is a swing and miss. That happens not everyone can bat a thousand. You still had him at RB 2. (which people seem to miss)
It's kind of funny you say the opposite of most analysts. "Jonathan Taylor never falls forward." He is actually pretty well known for ALWAYS falling forward and never getting knocked back. Good stuff haha.

Im a Bills fan & Swift is far & away the best RB as far as Im concerned. Edwards Helaire & Taylor will be good immediately because of the situations they went to. Dobbins will be good when he inherits the Ingram role. I love Akers too, I like Akers more than Dobbins, but Swift is more naturally talented than all of them. Swift is the best pass catcher in the draft whereas Taylor hardly does at all. If there's a Christian McCaffrey in this draft, in terms of versatility, then Swift is it. He can lineup at RB, he can lineup out wide, he can lineup in the slot. CEH can do that too, put Swift is in a different league for me. Remember Theo Riddick & the 60 balls he would catch every season for a few years? He was never replaced. Swift can do it. Obviously, Kerryon & Scarborough will be used, but Swift could be something real special.
Haha I was thinking the same exact thing. Like as he was saying the no power thing and falling forward it was exactly what he was doing in the video at that moment lol. The irony

joe geary I know man this dudes a fucking moron he breaks more tackles than a lot of running backs and consistently falls forward, like so what he doesn’t break every tackle, he’s not Aj Dillon, Chris Carson, or Derrick Henry he’s a strong elusive back/ home run hitter
As a Minnesota Gopher fan, I’ve seen Jonathan Taylor terrorize this conference for years now. The negatives about him that you mentioned should be taken with a grain of salt honestly, which is just my opinion. Keep in mind, he had 3 seasons in which 299 carries was his lowest amount. LOWEST! Plus, the guy played a bunch of games out in the snow or crummy winter weather so the fumbles are going to be there for a guy that young. Hell, Adrian Peterson carried his fumbling problem throughout his entire career and made it out okay. I think Taylor will be an absolute beast and yet another RB product out of that damn school.
I grew up 2 hundred yds from the high school field that Jonathan played on. That guy is a beast. Ive seen many great football players come from our town but Jonathan is in his own class. Say what you will but when there was a Wisconsin game on anybody who understands football was watching him tear down the field. And if he didn't decide to go into the draft imagine what the new college total yard by a running back would be.
Dan Horsley With how receivers and running backs tend to slide naturally in the draft, you all will get a solid RB even if you wait until the second or third round. Just look at how many 2nd or 3rd rounders come in and compete year one nowadays. It’s a replaceable position that I think you all can hold off on and just build up elsewhere in the first. With those picks, you can easily get that defense looking scary ASAP
@@danielpenrodii2389 I agree with you that there are some very good backs this year...however, I think Taylor and Swift are premier backs. That low 4.0 40 sealed the deal to complement his on the field play.
“Can Akers only bounces outside” yeah, because Ensor of his runs are designed for the outside, and Florida state has an inside back that they use, he is able to run inside.
In terms of success right out of the gate, I believe LSU’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire(definitely had to Google the last name lol) will be the most successful. Not only is he such a tough runner that never backed down from defenders, but he displayed amazing receiving skills while facing the most elite defenses in college. He went over 100+ yards without needing a large volume against the big SEC defenses all year long while catching like 6-8 passes for an extra 70 yards. Every aspect of his game just looked natural and I think his transition to the next level will be pretty simple.
Yeah but he needs a catchy nickname because if I draft him in fantasy not only is his name too long to type out, but I'm gonna butcher it every time. After 20 years I still can't spell Vinnitieri...or is it Vinnitierri? Ah fuck it!

Cam Akers (Florida State) 5. JK Dobbins (Ohio State) 6. AJ Dillon (Boston College) 7. Ke'Shawn Vaughn (Vanderbilt) 8. Zack Moss (Utah) 9. Darrynton Evans (Appalachian State) 10. Joshua Kelly (UCLA)
I think Jonathan Taylor is the best running back in this entire group! And he's well worthy of a first-round pick! He came 23 yards shy of averaging 2000 yards in a season and averaged over six and a half yards a carry
You called it on the Bills wanting to pair Singletary with a power style back. Moss isn't tall but is 20lbs heavier than Singletary and seeks contact alot more...he hammers defenders. Good analysis there.
That was really good assessment on all them backs. JT doesn’t fall forward. For his size it does not translate to power it possible he can get together but from footage it doesn’t show.
Madden Simulations or we watch the actual games. I have no problem with where JT is ranked, however Scout Headquarters saying he never falls forward is just wrong and makes it clear he doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Your favorite boy is probably too high, there’s a lot more cons about him, and he’s insanely one dimensional. That was probably a little bit of favoritism to put him over Dobbins.
Scout Headquarters don’t sweat it. That guy you had at number 3 is a beast I barely knew about him. In the right offensive system (like the patriots as you mentioned) he has the potential to be the best out of all of them.
THANK YOU!!! It’s disrespectful the lack of attention this man is getting. Some team is going to get a steal in the 4th or 5th round. The guy has a ceiling of Alvin Kamara
I don’t often comment on channels, but I had to holla here. I (of course) don’t agree with all of your evaluations, but your rationale for each back was measured and rationale. I liked and subscribed, but you need to drop comment with more regularity. This channel has real potential..., I’m rooting for you. ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
Wisconsin backs(Ron Dayne. Micheal Bennett, Anthony Davis, Montee Ball) outside of Melvin Gordan, have never amounted to much in the pro's, Wisconsin backs benefit from great O-line's
Dezman Garrett I don’t think Swift will fall to 57 even after free agency, but AJ Dillon will for sure be there. I think he’ll fall to the third round tbh but idk I think if we draft JT23 he’ll work on his fumbling problem and he’s a home run dude
TheAgi Channel JT doesn’t have fumbling problems, 14 total lost fumbles in 3 season playing all games outside in snowy nasty cold weather, dude had over 900+ carries at UW. With all those carries during his time in Madison, Swift has a pretty ugly fumbling percentage at GA
Clyde was a monster thats why he got picked over the other backs. If you watch his tape and compare it to the other backs in the draft its easy to see why the chiefs wanted him so badly. He has the best route running and catch ability in his position which the chiefs LOVE to utilize from their backs. What really makes him special is his lateral speed, agility and his ability to almost always beat 1 on 1 tackles. He has more clips of him making yards out of nothing than any other back. I cant wait to see what he can do in Andy Reid's offense.
As a Steelers fan, I would really like to see them draft a 3rd down/return man type. We need a dynamic playmaker in the mold of T.Cohen or A.Eckler. which back in this class do you think fits that description the best?
Just based on your words Clyde Edward's Helaire a RB with no weakness... compared to #4 thru #1 with expressed weaknesses. Then factor in LSU playing in the SEC??? I DON'T KNOW BRO! Are you talking about Best/Best or Best Pro ready? For the record... short, stocky, sturdy, quick? elusive??? with good feet RBs with vision? and with "Heart????" are difficult to put hands on which translates into mismatches and Big plays on the next level. My take... a box of tools works better than one or favorite ones...
Jonathan Taylor's biggest weakness is his ball security, but as far as his power is concerned---he's a load. He also has exceptional balance. I don't get the narrator's breakdown of the workhorse back.
Swift's double move juke won't work well in the NFL especially if he gives up any forward momentum to make it except if he's 1 vs 1 in the open field. It'll be his welcome to the NFL moment when he tries it, gives up a little forward momentum, and gets tackled from behind. He's gotta turn that into a one-cut at speed while continuing down hill.
I agree with you on the running back and receiver for the most part. There are so many good ones it's like supply and demand. There are more good running backs and receivers than there are quarterbacks or good left tackles for example. Their position is very important but the value isn't
@@scoutheadquarters639 J.K. did the same thing twice against Clemson though. This dude gonna run the 40 faster than Alvin Kamara and Dalvin Cook. His long speed ain't too shabby either. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"I'm worried about an RB holding up to a heavy workload in the pros because he held up to a heavy workload in college". In all seriousness, the numbers show that a heavy workload is actually a good thing. Durability translates.
Why does Dobbs look so funny when he runs? It's like he is swinging his arms on the wrong steps or something. Upright, sure, but something about that gait is just not regular.
HUBBABUBBAandCHICO I never thought you’d ask. It’s much harder to find a great kicker than a great RB. Not saying you can roll scrubs out there but history has proven that having a all pro runningback/receiver does not lead to success.
Scout Headquarters I hear what you are saying and I can agree to a certain degree, but some of the greatest things to happen to the nfl was the fact the the forward pass was made, without that the nfl wouldn’t really exist, wide receivers put numbers on and off the field in the stands, kickers and punters are VERY important to a game but you can make it further in a season with a bad kicker than you can with all around bad receivers and running backs, teams aren’t game planning for kickers they are game planning for your best players which are typically wr, rb, qb, de, mlb, cb, fs but I do respect what you are saying
Zach Moss will be very successful as a power back for the Bills. Just like you said they need one, and he will get the ball A LOT since they don't have much else going for them.
If i played RB all through pop warner and high school, does that mean i have alot of tread(wear*) on my tires? And uh that kinda looks like your Jonathan ANDERSON*WARD* blooper lol, you know you can go back and edit these videos right? 🤣😂🤣😂
If a running back has a lot of tread left on the tires that means he has plenty left.I think you meant to say in you're analogy ..he may not have not have that much tread left on the tires because he has been used so much.
Akers is a beast! The best RB in the draft. Clyde is no joke. This is a great overall draft top to bottom. No team should come out this draft empty handed
Antonio Gibson? Do you have him as a WR or is he not in your top 10? Because I think he could be the best RB in the class if he is in the right system.
The best Running Back you never heard of is Ulonzo Gilliam, out of UC Davis up near Sacramento, CA in Northern California. He is a junior this year so I think it makes him NFL Draft eligible and out of the Top 3/5 backs this year I would pick him at #6 as the best RB. Everything about him you want in a RB, Underrated is an understatement. He has been racking up stats at UC Davis, I get that it is UC Davis but the guy is special in my eyes. Hands down he deserves a roster spot in the NFL. ULONZO GILLIAM, I would be familiar with his name.
Taylor lacks balance and doesn't fall forward! How in the world did you come to this conclusion? Those are literally two of his strongest traits. He ALWAYS falls forward. This is so off base I wonder if you watched any of his games. Seriously, change this video, it is not a good look for your expertise. Just completely wrong. 'Taylor lacks push,' wow I've seen it all. @@scoutheadquarters639 Which games did you watch? Because you can pick any of them and you will see him picking up extra yardage on nearly every play. These are traits that jump out immediately when you watch Taylor. Here is a random Iowa game where he falls/pushes forward on nearly every run.
John Kester I watched all his games. You need to differentiate falling down and falling forward because what Taylor does is fall down. Daniel Havener draft*
How does Eno Benjamin not make this list??? He's the steal of the draft.
That's what they said about Kalen ballage
Me too
@@Aj-hw2to Eno did it consistently tho. Ballage never came close to the production Eno put up at AZ St.
THANK YOU!!! It’s disrespectful the lack of attention this man is getting. Some team is going to get a steal in the 4th or 5th round. The guy has a ceiling of Alvin Kamara
I watch every game eno played he is alright. We see though. I take him 5,6,7 and then maybe he can be a value but he not top 10 in my opinion
Bob Quinn got value getting Swift in the 2nd rd. He was the only RB who was routinely mocked in the bottom of the 1st rd. 👍🏻
Zack Moss has probably the best vision in the draft class. He is very patient and looks for his openings.
I don’t often comment on channels, but I had to holla here. I (of course) don’t agree with all of your evaluations, but your rationale for each back was measured and rationale. I liked and subscribed, but you need to drop comment with more regularity. This channel has real potential..., I’m rooting for you. ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
Darrin Mason appreciate the love man means a lot. I know I’m inconsistent at uploading but I’m working on it.
How about UCF RB Adrian Killins, you can't teach speed!
Fina be da steal o' the draft.
from a chief fan, sssssshhhhhhh
Georgia, Wisconsin, Boston college, Ohio state.... seems like these schools always have great running backs
Wisconsin backs(Ron Dayne. Micheal Bennett, Anthony Davis, Montee Ball) outside of Melvin Gordan, have never amounted to much in the pro's, Wisconsin backs benefit from great O-line's
If Houston drafts just about ANY of these guys I’ll be happy asf. Especially if we get two of them like AJ Dillon n McFarland
TheAgi Channel dawg im really hoping that either d'andre swift or aj dillon fall to the second round
And nah most of them are receiving backs, we already have that in duke johnson
Dezman Garrett I don’t think Swift will fall to 57 even after free agency, but AJ Dillon will for sure be there. I think he’ll fall to the third round tbh but idk I think if we draft JT23 he’ll work on his fumbling problem and he’s a home run dude
TheAgi Channel JT doesn’t have fumbling problems, 14 total lost fumbles in 3 season playing all games outside in snowy nasty cold weather, dude had over 900+ carries at UW. With all those carries during his time in Madison, Swift has a pretty ugly fumbling percentage at GA
😳😳😳😳... that is surprising.. great job thanks for the response and look forward to more content.
Edwards Helaire was a 1st round pick... The only round 1 RB this year... yeah I was kinda shocked too
Clyde was a monster thats why he got picked over the other backs.
Swift went to the lions hella happy
As a Steelers fan, I would really like to see them draft a 3rd down/return man type. We need a dynamic playmaker in the mold of T.Cohen or A.Eckler. which back in this class do you think fits that description the best?
Michael Barcus definitely cam Akers or Anthony McFarland.
Reminds me of bell
Sorry that was for Taylor
"I was going to put his name higher because of his name value, but that's not who I am." LOL!!
T. A. Boyd can’t argue that
James Robinson is crashing the party
Yessir😭😭😭 he already statically one of the top 10 best rushers in the League
@@raynixon7847 reminds me of Ahman Green
dobbins should've been #1 nun of them backs could move like that man
lol JT doesn't fall forward? Doesn't break tackles? My dude, did you film this on opposite day?
Another great vid!
Slump lmao
I agree with you with you on JT. Swift is easily the best back in this class. Any thoughts on Darrynton Evans from Appalachian State?
Really enjoyed your video brotha. Hope the Chargers take your boy Dillon. Him and Austin ekeler would be solid one 2 punch
Darrynton Evans
Jonathan Taylor's biggest weakness is his ball security, but as far as his power is concerned---he's a load. He also has exceptional balance. I don't get the narrator's breakdown of the workhorse back.
What about Xavier Jones SMU? Is he coming out??
Swift's double move juke won't work well in the NFL especially if he gives up any forward momentum to make it except if he's 1 vs 1 in the open field. It'll be his welcome to the NFL moment when he tries it, gives up a little forward momentum, and gets tackled from behind. He's gotta turn that into a one-cut at speed while continuing down hill.
Thanks dope video
I agree with you on the running back and receiver for the most part. There are so many good ones it's like supply and demand. There are more good running backs and receivers than there are quarterbacks or good left tackles for example. Their position is very important but the value isn't
Chanman 4eva smart man
Devwah Whaley is the most slept on back in the Draft.. 6’1 220 4.5
Dude i frickin Love Dillion! #1 on the Sparq chart as well.
David Mazzini and I fricking love you
6:45 - Scout Headquarters: "Dobbins doesn't have elite top end speed"
while showing him breaking away for a 78 yard TD.........🤦🏾♂️
Be Distinct uh I have clips of AJ Dillon breaking 60 yard runs what’s your point
@@scoutheadquarters639 J.K. did the same thing twice against Clemson though. This dude gonna run the 40 faster than Alvin Kamara and Dalvin Cook. His long speed ain't too shabby either. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@scoutheadquarters639 AJ Dillon ran a 4.53....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He doesn’t.
@@jayels3036 do you think he's faster than AJ Dillon?......If so then that's a faster 40 than Alvin Kamara.
“I don’t see any real problem in his (Swift) game”
Me who is watching him in the NFL: He. Can’t. Fucking. Catch.
Running backs are like security at a club... you wish you had them when you need them...
Wachu know bout Gus Edwards lol. That our low key workhorse over here in B More
So you think the guys who run the ball and catch the ball are the least important?
helmedon pinned comment
"I'm worried about an RB holding up to a heavy workload in the pros because he held up to a heavy workload in college".
In all seriousness, the numbers show that a heavy workload is actually a good thing. Durability translates.
Why does Dobbs look so funny when he runs? It's like he is swinging his arms on the wrong steps or something. Upright, sure, but something about that gait is just not regular.
Great video. It's always refreshing too see an unusual list about prospects. Almost all have the same names...
Tiago B that’s what I’m here for
Taylor reminds me of Laveon Bell with top end speed!!!!
How is running back and receiver less important than kickers and punters?
is d andre swift on here
fortnite swifty idk you tell me
If a running back has a lot of tread left on the tires that means he has plenty left.I think you meant to say in you're analogy ..he may not have not have that much tread left on the tires because he has been used so much.
Bucs need Jonathan Taylor.
Akers is a beast! The best RB in the draft. Clyde is no joke. This is a great overall draft top to bottom. No team should come out this draft empty handed
1. JK Dobbins, 2. Jonathan Taylor, 3. De’Andre Swift no questions asked.
Cam akers???
Ulonzo Gilliam????
AJ dillion???
Swift #1
@@DaveThomson sad
What about adrian killen
Did I just hear him say “I think RB and WR are the two least important positions in football” ??
Yeah, I think I heard the same thing!
Yup... After watching the whole video, I heard that and this guy's credibility instantly went to - 1000
Zach moss or aj dillon to seahawks i would be happy lol
Johnthan Taylor is more like bell with patience and receiving
Jonathan Taylor to me reminds me of Arian foster.
Mark Jefferson foster wasn’t quite as fast but great comp in terms of play style
@@scoutheadquarters639 yep
his favorite back
Yeah tell them packers fans that dont understand the Aj Dillon pick ( Packers need a Derek Henry type HB)
Detroit needs a Derrick Henry type lol
Antonio Gibson? Do you have him as a WR or is he not in your top 10? Because I think he could be the best RB in the class if he is in the right system.
Cause if NOT, smh. lol i watched the FIRST clip and you said Akers lacked vision???
Happy Easter
Andrew Miller I’ll keep my eyes on him
Taylor lacks balance and doesn't fall forward! Lol.
John Kester show me the tape cause I certainly didn’t see it
@@scoutheadquarters639 th-cam.com/video/QgVytqLfJ6A/w-d-xo.html
@@scoutheadquarters639 Which games did you watch? Because you can pick any of them and you will see him picking up extra yardage on nearly every play. These are traits that jump out immediately when you watch Taylor. Here is a random Iowa game where he falls/pushes forward on nearly every run.
John Kester I watched all his games. You need to differentiate falling down and falling forward because what Taylor does is fall down. The times where Taylor “falls forward” he is already going down by contact. I’ve never seen a clip of Taylor going head on with someone and breaking the tackle let alone fall forward.
@@scoutheadquarters639 Then you are lying about watching all his games. Here you go, from his second career game. There are dozens and dozens of these throughout his career. Seriously what were you watching?

Top 10 rookie running backs pls correct title
Yea we got him 2 Nd round. Love his ability.
Kansas City needs to get one of them. Johnathan Taylor to KC NEEDS to happen
Garrett Peitz Damien Williams is just fine
@@scoutheadquarters639 I respectfully disagree, he's a decent backup
Ya Zac Moss's best attribute is his patience and vision not his weakness. You obviously watched a couple highlights lol
Bro did you play FOOTBALL at the Running Back position past HIgh School????
Cam Akers had no o-line to work with. Every play he had to create himself. Sounds like pretty decent vision trait to me..
What about Antonio Gibson from Memphis?
Kody Nez thought he was a good playmaker from both spots but not really a master of either.
Cam Akers lacks power??? Not an fsu fan but please go watch his film he is clearly a top 5 back with the worse O line in the country... broke dalvin cook freshman records as well
2020 NFL Draft Running Backs
1. Deandre Swift RB Georgia
2. Jonathan Taylor RB Wisconsin
3. JK Dobbins RB Ohio State
4. Clyde Edwards Helaire LSU
5. Cam Akers RB Florida State
I must say JJ Taylor is a sleeper Sproles like.
These takes are so cold that I had to put on a jacket and gloves while watching this video. ❄️❄️
C.E.H.still being slept on hope my Saints can get Him
Good job
