One of the great things about making your own is you can always have reminders of your wedding day sitting in your home as beautiful decor. Congratulations
Congratulations and Thank You! I followed your video to a T - as they say, and built all four of these pedestals for my son's wedding. Bride and Groom loved them, and got so many compliments.
Congratulations to you and Devin. Wishing you many, many years of love, happiness, health, and wealth. So happy for you two. Loved the pedestals. The fact that you personally made them yourself, made them even more special. 💗
Thank You for sharing this! I'm wondering how strong these are with the plywood. Approximately how much weight do they hold? I'm trying to decide whether or not it is necessart to build them with a slightly stronger wood material. Mine would be for weekly or monthly use for weddings.
Do you have all these tools at home? I have a decor for my bunnies which requires these pillar stands, I have never use these tools before but I really want to give it a try.
congratulations! Stefani, you think this DIY be modified to have hidden storage on inside instead of being hallow? still be sturdy for a vase to sit on top of it?
I believe they were, but it’s fairly common in the military to have a courthouse wedding and then save for a big wedding and/or reception later due to timing issues with deployments, moves, trainings, etc.

Would you mind to share the size of the 4 walls? Are they should be the same width or 2 of them should be narrow?
Did you remove the nails once the glue dried? You mentioned holes when using wood filler.

I have the same question. Mine would need to hold a table-top lectern with a large book on it.
Hi. Can you tell me what was the measurements for the square piece. I don’t have a saw and want to get it cut at Home Depot.
