I gave mosquitoes to the horrible looking Water Scorpion.

  • PleaseBee who went to the countryside after a long time
    I met many creatures there.
One of them is a Water Scorpion.
And when I zoomed in on the Water Scorpion, it looked really terrifying.
I decided to give the Water Scorpion mosquitoes.
Will the Water Scorpion be able to hunt mosquitoes?

hello! i think those things you see move are known as Detritus Worms. We see them in the aquarium hobby in very natural settings and they cause no harm to your aquarium either and are a sign of healthy system of life haha... they most likey ride the scorpion and eat all the left over food!

as a kid our neighborhood had various driveways that were just dirt, carns and trucks would make deep tredmarks and when itd rain theyd fill up with water for weeks at a time, frogs would often lay eggs so every year i'd get to watch a ton of tadpoles slowly grow legs and eventually the driveways would be overrun by hundreds of half inch long baby frogs as they made their way out into the world

Translate to English: hello!! I always enjoy watching your videos!! Please do it. When I watch your video, insects that usually look creepy look cute!! They say that if you have affection for the subject, you can take good photos/videos, and I think I can feel the affection that Pleasera has for living creatures😊😊 And I am raising them from the larva stage in one of Pleasearea's videos! I like it. Could you please raise the water dragonfly larva just once? This is my favorite species of dragonfly! Although I like this dragonfly, I don't know much about it, so I'm sorry if it's a species that is very difficult to raise from larvae! If possible, I would appreciate it if you could raise it!! I always support you!!

    • @hildamoraga7718

Translate to English: The things attached to the waterworm are probably waterworm larvae. In the United States, they are called detritus worms, and they often attach to fish and other large creatures in freshwater. They are harmless creatures except for the problem of their numbers increasing when the water is dirty.

Those are awfully similar to a giant water bug, and I bet they deliver a lively bite if you mess up handling them.

I have been care for Nepidae species since when i was a child. I didn't got a bite even once, and they are very peaceful to human while handling them compare to Belostomatidae species..They looks aggresive and they can gives you painful bite, but they are not tend to give a painful bite to human.

Nepidae is a family of exclusively aquatic Heteropteran insects in the order Hemiptera.[1] They are commonly called water scorpions for their superficial resemblance to scorpions, due to their raptorial forelegs and the presence of a long slender process at the posterior end of the abdomen, resembling a tail.[2] There are 14 genera in the family, in two subfamilies, Nepinae and Ranatrinae. Members of the genus Ranatra, the most widespread and species-rich genus, are sometimes called needle bugs or water stick insects as they are slenderer than Nepa.[3]
Summary:that is a bug in the nepidae family and watch out because some can fly.. nightmare fuel isn’t it?

If you think they are ugly and nightmare fuel, try the water scorpions from the family Belastomatidae, those can reach up to 10.5 cm or about 4" - the adults fly and boy, they can BITE and the bite is very painful - and they aren't called "toe -biters" for nothing

@@Astrih_Konnash I’m pretty sure you’re talking about the lethocerus bugs in the belostomatidae family? They’re scary as hell.Lethocerus is a genus of the hemipteran family Belostomatidae, known colloquially as giant water bugs, toe biters and electric light bugs, distributed in tropical, subtropical and temperate areas of the world.[1][2] The greatest diversity of species occurs in the Americas, with only a single species in Europe, two in Africa, two in Australia and three in Asia.[2] It includes the largest true bugs with species capable of reaching a length of over 12 centimetres (4.7 in).[3] The South American L. grandis and L. maximus are the only species to commonly exceed 9 cm (3.5 in), with more typical lengths for the remaining species being between 4.5 and 9 cm (1.8 and 3.5 in).[2] Lethocerus sp. are distinguished from other genera in the Lethocerinae (Benacus and Kirkaldyia) by two symmetrical furrows in the inner pad of setae on the fore femur, the external borders of parasternites II and III narrowed and nearly straight, and with the setae of the tarsomeres following the line of the tibial setae.
