Esau handed over his birthright due to not being patient in a sense. Showing favortism and coming up with wicked schemes can create drama, confusion, and division. God does allow things to happen for a reason.
Esau was hungry, his brother should have given his brother food without strings attached. It was Jacob who coveted his brother's birth right. Why should Esau have went hungry when his brother had the food to feed him ? And tricking him? Like he tricked his father? Jacob was wrong!

Jacob didn't steal anything... He took what was rightfully his. Esau should have been honest in saying "I sold my birthright to Jacob". God has already ordained Jacob to have the blessing before they were even born, that's why his mother sent him in there when Esau left
Facts but the mom took matters into her hands as what Sarah did by giving Hagar to Abraham & it ended in chaos 😢 though God promised that those things will take place; we as humans usually feel like we’re the ones who need to be the one to make it come to pass when if she had waited at the right time in God’s timing He would’ve ensured that Jacob got his blessings 😊
Am I the only one who thinks that the reason for the bad blood n hated that took place from Esau side to Jacob is because of Rebekah? Like yeah I get that God made a promise of Jacob ruling over Esau but if Rebekah had allowed God in His timing to bless Jacob; him n his brother would have been cool. Even if Isaac had blessed Esau, God’s promises over n for Jacob still would have come to pass if she had allowed God’s will n timing to take place. N I’m guilty of this too in many occasions 😢🥲🥲🥲
Laban was arrogant, conceited, controlling, and manipulative. He was trying to act as if Jacob was blessed just because of him. He was mad because he no longer had control or rule over him. It seems as though he was a covert narcissist or something. Trying to act like he had their best interest at heart or what have you.
