Thanks for all the useful info in the Stituation Room. Re cotton thread-I wanted to use cotton in my nq1600 for end to end designs, for a more muted look, instead of the glossy poly-my machine didn’t like it. Anyone else have that problem?? I’m going to buy the poly you recommended
Glad it was helpful!
The end to end is still an embroidery design, so it needs to have a poly thread to be able to handle the speed of the machine. The Poly Cone from connecting threads should work pretty well for that.

Can you edge to edge quilt with a minky backing? Was hoping to do that for my Greatgranddaughter's quilt.
Yes you can. However, I would get some sort of lifting system to hold the weight up off the embroidery arm.

I look at the software you use . Do you have to buy embrillance and than buy the add on I looked at the one and it was 365.00 is that just for that add on or is it all of it
