only public IP addresses(your public facing static IP) can be used in a SPF record and you don't need to add the email to the distribution list in M365 Admit center for it to work. The purpose of the SPF record is so that Microsoft can verify that the device sending from/over your public IP facing doesn't get flagged as SPAM. Microsoft states that when using a non secure connection(MX-Relay) such as Port 25 with no authentication(hence the reason why he didn't use a username and password) that the email doesn't have to be an existing one. to view your public IP(weather static or not) CMD--> type: c:\>tracert 8.8.8.8 the first IP address after your default gateway should be your public IP(unless you have more routers on the way out).
isnt the ip in dns supposed to be the wan IP rather than the LAN ip f the printer....
