You didn't meet real Rastas, these are just street hustlers with dreadlocks. On the wall of the binghi behind you, it says entrance is free & not to be hustled out of money for entry. Please do not allow this experience to cloud your view of Rastafari ppl! Blessed love.

4min in and I'm having flashbacks from when I went to Morocco. People were trying to scam me the whole time, my easy way out was to tell them that I was brazilian and poor and not a rich european, lmao

Loved the people you met in the grocery. One covered your bills, the other saw you off and said " He's our friend. He came here to visit us. We're now tired so please take care of him on our behalf." to the Bajaj driver. How sweet. 25:55

    1. You should have tipped that guy who showed you a little circus, at the beginning of the video. I am sure you must be regretting it now.
    2. Almost all people you met were very nice to you. But you preferred to title your video with negative connotation - "Attacked" ...
    3. It seems you went there for defamation. Rastafarians are the very peaceful people. Sorry you experienced that. But that doesn't lead to hasty generalization. You should appear very friendly. Sometimes, approaches matter the most.
    4. Kudos to my people there who are able to speak your language, at least in their own word. Most did understand you. You don't get that a lot in African cities, especially in townships and countryside.
    4. As a tourist, if you cannot afford to tip, don't visit. Money should not be your primary concern for such a channel you want to build. Viewers should not see such parts. Or cut it out from your video during editing. I know some people try to scam nonlocals. It is a global concern.
    5. If you want to grow your channel, unless you have some another agenda, please focus on the good things and try to understand people in their perspective. Give them a chance to explain. Have some discussion like what you did in the bar. By the way, that bar scene was the best. You see how my people welcomed you when you sit with them and have a discuss?
    6. Hope my honest critics above would help you. I hope to see you on another video, and I will subscribe then.

Particularly a little homework on where you're visiting. The Rastas very often live on charity, a little ganga dealing, they are very poor.

The filming of the performer & refusing to tip was scummy behavior. This guy isn't safe traveling with this attitude. Should learn from Bald & Bankrupt.

please don't move alone in the city, there are some rude peoples even if the majority are good on hospitality. So, it is better if you have one local guide, if you are with local people no one will try to cheat you. Even you may loss your personal materials somewhere, be careful.

Ras Tafarians in Shashamane need to get their freaking act together! No a good look for them. This kind of negativity won't sit well with Ethiopians.

Let me just make clear not all JAMAICANS are Rastas. I feel bad how you was treated. Better to visit Tewahedo places such as Axum and Lalibela.
Are to be clear REAL RASTA is the most peaceful people you can find. These are just people with Lox hair.

There are very few actual Rastas in Sheshemane. Most people there are Orthodox. And the Orthodox places in Ethiopia are for the most part no safer than other places.

Always ask the price before you ride the taxi. Do not show fear don’t be outside late alone. If you have someone you trust it ok but avoid to walk after dark. Galla’s are criminals not only to you to other Ethiopians too unfortunately. They’re emboldened by the Galla’s government;(
