You're crushing it with the content callum!! I'm so glad i work nightshift here in the US, cuz then i get to watch your new uploads on my lunch breaks at 3am lol
QOTD definitely team of Jellicent Roserade and Shadow Abomasnow in spring cup which carried me from 2400s to 2899 raiting. Roserade was completely broken and I’m glad nobody mentioned it or knew about it.
QOTD: I've been running swampert, skuntank and staraptor in UL this past week. Went from 2500s to 2800s. It shouldn't work. But my goodness it does. And nothing closes a game out like staraptor.
I love running ABA or ABB teams because I find those games to be really fun and easy for me in terms of reading teams and calling opponent plays. My best team for climbing this season is my Ultra League "Goon Squad" team featuring Obstagoon with obstruct and night slash Muk with acid spray and dark pulse and Hundo Shadow Granbull with charm, close combat, and Crunch.
Absolutely insane line, i was running something very similar with seel instead of drif, tried this one yesterday and reached 3200 by just team comping most of the oppos
Yeah prior to this I had Seel instead of Drifloon although as a safe swap with Iggly in the lead. At higher elo there were just too many Pokemon ready to counter Seel safe swaps but then super weak to Drifloon leads. Glad it's worked so well for you!
QOTD: My favourite team that just allowed me to reach legend at the very last set of the very last day of the cup was : shelmet lead, shiny Bronzor and shiny Vullaby. It was incredibly fun to play!
QOTD: Charm shadow Alolan Ninetails, Lanturn, and Noctowl. The only problem with this team is a steel type lead. Sometimes though, like in the situation with Stunfisk, swapping to Lanturn ends up keeping the opponent in the battle and they don't switch out. Which lets me get some crucial surf damage out on the steel type. Pretty much any other lead is an easy win with this team aside from steel types. This team got me from 2000 elo to 2600 elo to get Veteran. Unfortunately ultra league wrecked me since then lol.
QOTD: the little cup team you showcased last week: nosepass, seel and drifloon. got me reliably above veteran for the first time ever and drifloon is incredibly good even though I'm still always seeing dino, vulpix, wynaut and seel
QOTD: Still finding my rhythm this season, but last season, when the Willpower Cup was active, I hit Veteran with a triple Dark/Poison team featuring Skuntank, Drapion, and Hisuian Qwilfish.
Congrats! QotD: Best team this season was for Master Premiere Gained over 450 ELO almost got to expert from mid 2200's Florges lead, BB dragon breath gary sawfe swap, chandelure closer
Last time Little Cup was around, Driflim was my MVP. I tried it again this time, but ran into so many Seel/Deino combo's that my ELO tanked at least 200. Maybe the meta has shifted, so I'll give it another go.
Congrats on that incredible climb to hit Legend! Drifloon is among my favorite Pokemon of all time, so it almost makes me think that I'll try Little cup next time. 🤭
Congrats on reaching Legend! QOTD: Shadow Dragonair/Medicham/Bastiodon on Great League. The team is somewhat easy to pilot (win lead with D-Nair and profit) and it allows me to run spice after hitting Legend.
QOTD: Rayquaza, Cobalion, Cressalia in the ultra league. I know Rayquaza in the ultra league sounds stupid but it's actually really good as a lead, and performs well with shields, even being able to overcome stuff like Cressalia and Pidgeot in the 2-shield
Been using my old faithful fairy double ghost team in ul to push for legend. Gained nearly 500 elo in the last 2 days. My shadow rank 1 shadow A9 is nearly finished also which will make my team even stronger
QOTD: tapu fini / shadow drapion (crunch + SB) / shadow zard in the UL. In the first rotation (week 3-4) reached 2970 with it and than dropped down in other cups. Now i reached 3300 (from 2600) since UL is available again
I actually didn't elite TM the Igglybuff myself, I asked a friend who has a lot of elite TMs & doesn't PvP to do it & trade it, hence the random IVs 😂 You could probably use another dark type in its place if you're not seeing too many Wynaut
@@CallumOnToast I ended up just using my Dewpider. It only soft loses to Bronzor surprisingly. But I completely forgot that the cup was leaving the next day so I Elite TMd my igglybuff 🥲
QOTD. Little cup has always been good to me. I don’t normally stick to 1 team as I mix it up every set. But since Shadow Onix has been available I have to build a team with it haha. Both LCs so far this season using S Ducklett S Onix S Purrloin gets me up to around 2700.
QOTD: My MLPC team. Quick Attack Sylveon, Snorlax and Waterfall Gyarados. I honestly haven't been trying very hard this season. My GL team was pretty amazing too. Meganium, Dunsparce, A9
Congrats on reaching Legend! I like the team, I don't have a Vullaby below 500 cp sadly. QOTD: My most successful team was Virizion, Shadow Zard and Aurorus in the Ultra league, climbed from 2500 to 3000 in a few days 😁
Qotd: somehow Managed to hit Legend at the end of march in Ultra league with Crypto steelix, cresselia (moonblast and future sight) and tapu fini. Crypto steelix is such a blast in the meta if kept away from swamperts and fighters😊
QOTD: I managed to get a decent Cobalion in a trade, so I wanted to make a team for it. It was a bit hard because I have very little options for the UL, but I ended up with Giratina (Altered) - Snorlax (Earthquake) - Cobalion. It has worked surprisingly well for me
QOTD: I’m guilty of running Chansey in the evolution cup. But paired with shadow Dragonair and Dusclops, I managed to climb from Ace to Expert in just 2-3 days.
You should try elekid. It absolutely destroys almost everything thing, and as long as you have a brozor and wynaut counter, it has almost no weaknesses
Currently I’ve been climbing again in the little cup running A sandshrew, Seel, and shadow Golett. Shadow Golett has been incredible in this meta, but it needs at least one shield. I really want to build an igglybuff but it needs so much stardust. My Golett would have gotten washed by your team 😂
How do get a vullaby below 500cp? they all hatch at 700cp. Since when could igglybuff learn body slam and wild charge? wigglytuff would be meta with those moves
Spinarak, Cottonee, Poliwag is a pretty goofy team ive been running, so satisfying to kil; Deino in 5 hits. Strangely, have not seen many Bronzor so may swap poliwag for something else
Qotd: xl deoxys shadow snorlax /xl steelix and guzzlord with sludge bomb in the ultra league carried me to legend this season and my 3rd time going to legend
Well I first used it to wall Bronzor & Wynaut, but from my experience Wynaut hasn't been as common recently, so you could probably get away with using any other decent dark type in its place
I would say: Altaria, stunfisk and ninetales, I was able to reach legend with it from 2880, if I had a good shadow ninetales it could have a better performance
& how did you play out those lost leads? Did you wait for Bronzor to throw a heavy slam before throwing with Igglybuff to force them to throw their energy straight away so you can come in with Drifloon & massively overfarm? & What were the third Pokémon in those teams?
@@CallumOnToast third pokemon was mostly deino, but i decided to first change wild charge to shadow ball for igglybuff and later i just put igglybuff on the lead since I still was seeing loads of seel leads and it turned out okay
@@braak295 fair enough. Like I said this team was built specifically what I was seeing around 2750 & above. Personally I had wild charge initially for Ducklett but didn't run into very many at all so shadow ball would have probably been a bit better

QotD: My absolute favourite team has got to be my old Little Jungle Cup team of Altaria, Swinub and Ferrothorn.
