Plus, not every generation can really boast of natural effortless singers like Kishore Kumar, Rafi , Mukesh, Manna Dey , Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.
Yes, the current generation also has fine singers..Arijit Singh, Papon along with the older crop like Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam , Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Shaan , KK among others have their own finesse
However, they cannot replicate the old era as audience and we as people consistently evolve from time to time- we keep changing..And evolution and change depends upon the requirements of the generation

I don’t know whether I cry, laugh, enjoy or what. Whenever I listen to this song, I just find myself in pure joy. It’s a masterpiece and look how simply and effortlessly Kishore da pulled it off. In terms of direction, no need of 200 extras or expensive sets and choreographer to move bodies as actor wants to take part in next Olympics or body building championship. I think these people were far more creative than current film makers. They knew how to touch that core human emotions.
And yeah I am too insignificant to even comment on lyrics and music composition. It is out of this world. What a team work..
