My first car was a 1978 Concord wagon! I bought it from a farmer who got it at a government auction, It was an ex-phone company fleet car with absolutely no options. Not even a radio or full capeting. best $600 I ever spent!
Beautiful looking car. I've never seen a 1978 AMC Concord. I've seen pics of them, but I've never seen one in person. I find it way more attractive than later Concords.
my mom had a 78 Concord coupe with the 258, that was a smooth, flawless and very reliable motor and transmission, very quiet, lovely driving car with the most comfortable seats, shame AMC went under, they had a long history of innovation back to the Nash and Ramblers
That was my first car. Mine was red with the wood paneling. Dark maroon actually. It set up a little higher. It was a really good car. I was 16. That was in 1986
I stand and clap! How much quality!
My first car was a 1978 Concord DL sedan. Loved that car.

Basically that design went all the way to the late 80s
can you show a shot of the instrument lights on while stating
Price!?
I'm just curious what somebody would pay for something like this these days?
