I may have commented before on this video but it appears that Mr. Max wants that big door opened, he wants to get into mischief...he wants to be the "baby bird" and get his way.!
The commitment level as his caregiver is intense, I know (I lived with the one my ex cared for). Max is a real gem though. He's obviously very loved, knows it, and has more personality than any other I've ever seen. Thank you, Max's Daddy, for sharing him with us. Many a day he has cheered me / made me laugh, where my cat seems far less inclined to. =)

I would love it if a manufacturer would create a squeaky toy that looked like Max. I would buy one for each of my niece's and nephew's dogs and for myself so I could enjoy Max's signature squeaky-toy sound whenever I desired.
+InterHalfer and Perry Johnjohn. I agree that Max can't be imitated or replaced. However, I can't always watch TH-cam when I want to. So a squeaky toy that looks like a Moluccan Cockatoo is the next best thing to remind me of his adorableness.
I live vicariously through Max’s videos. My ex took my sweet babies after the divorce and gave them away. I had an umbrella and a macaw. Sweetest babies ever! Love watching max
You know with me being disabled I mean I can walk and stuff like that but I would love to have a bird that would entertain me but it seems like he's taking over your whole life and I don't know if I could do that because I'm disabled and I 60 years old and a mother of two daughters one is a high school history teacher I just became a mother at 38 now she's decided she wants to be a stay-at-home mom and homeschool her son which I'm happy because I was a stay-at-home mom. So this is a really beautiful show I love how you are with Max you're very loving you very kind and it's almost like your life is just involved in him but that's because you love him and he loves you and I see that I love this program I love your show and that show of Max and I want to thank you for that you love that bird so much and I see that God bless you

This is an oldie, but goodie! I had a lovebird for nearly 20 years. She was so sassy. She would deliberately, and repeatedly, push the food/treat and water dishes off of her playground. She'd look right at me, with such attitude. I'd replace everything right away and she would do it again. I got a kick out of it, and a wet floor. Her personality and sass were well worth it.
Does Max still make these vocalizations (besides Hiiii lol) I just recently subscribed and am surprised how much he vocalizes in this compared to what is in the videos now -or maybe you just choose not to put them in the current videos so much? I could never own a bird but I do enjoy seeing your and Maxwell’s ‘story” and how well you care for him .
My umbrella cockatoo ( Mad Max ) will do the same thing with carrots and anything else he does it on purpose especially if he knows I just cleaned -- I swear, and then he'll look at me grab a mouth full of seed and put it in his water bowl , Max is a rescue bird with aggressive anger problems , but we're working on it !
