We drive on the Tremola, the world-famous serpentine road in Switzerland from the Sankt Gotthard Pass to Airolo in Ticino. The Tremola Pass road is the longest road construction monument in Switzerland with 4 kilometers in length, 300 meters in altitude and 24 hairpin bends. The paving, with granite stones, is preserved for almost the entire route, as well as the kilometer stones and the dry stone walls. The pass road leads from the Gotthard Pass to Airolo in Ticino.
