【宾夕法尼亚大学中国舞社】2024专场｜四时风物志《盛世双姝》
Powerful and skillful, it is a stunning dance duo portraying Princess Taiping and Shangguan Wan'er of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). During those days, the status of women reached unprecedented heights, allowing them to participate in the imperial examinations and increasing the number of female officials. The two of them danced together in front of the palace, one with gentle and graceful movements, the other with a bold and heroic posture-leading the audience to admire the splendor of the Tang Dynasty through the language of dance.
