When Kurt Angle defeated Rhino for the WCW United States Championship on Raw back in 2001, WWE was still using the Raw Is War Arena Settings, not the Ruthless Aggression Era Settings!!!
They should of made a Kurt angle showcase for WWE 2k18

Justin Credible Yea that’s crazy he should’ve had the title at least twice at the very least he was better than JBL in 04 and was more deserving. At times they had him just go through awful booking but being kurt angle he made a way to make it all entertaining and that’s why he should’ve been champion it just felt like he needed to be no matter what circumstances similar to How Aj Styles is right now just Red hot.. I️ won’t even get into 05 that was arguably his best year and it was criminally underrated only thing most people can remember is the Shawn Michaels match at wm 21 which was a classic.. that feud with Cena was soo good but still underrated which brings me to my next point they should’ve listened to the crowd and put the title on him instead of having him job out to Cena I️ really think that’s why he left knowing he wasn’t the companies top performer any longer even though Cena wasn’t half the wrestler he was he had the popularity I’m not knocking Cena in anyway I’m always a Cena supporter but I️ like Angle just that much more and he should’ve beat him in late 05..trying to make Cena the next unstoppable hulk hogan just didn’t work and you could really tell after he beat very good wrestlers like Jericho and Christian then Angle was the breaking point I️ believe because he was clearly owning Cena on the mic and was just the clear more legit wrestler even with that whole anti American thing with daivari he was still cheered over Cena at survivor series and throughout their feud..the proof is by 06 specifically that night on New Years Revolution the crowd clearly hated Cena that night literally the only cheers were from kids or women which was no match for the thunderous booes and hatred for him.. meanwhile you’ve got The crowd cheering Angle no matter what he said or did... anyway He should’ve had the title a few more times 06 was long overdue LONG!
he had neck problems and injuries around those times, that's why he was gm of smackdown in 04, went to raw in 05, feuded with john cena for the wwe title, then he went to back to smackdown to win the world heavyweight title.

Rumors for Angle was that he was going to face Taker that year at Mania and Taker wanted him to go over, and that made Vince not even want to go through with the match at all for whatever reason. I remember reading that back in December 05 for news and rumors going into ‘06..Yea but I really do think they were losing faith and running out of ideas for Angle.
GOAT ! Once he was drafted to the new ecw in 06, he realized shortly that new faces like Cena, Orton and Batista were building up to be the top guys of the company. So he ultimately left due to that fact and his drug abuse to TNA. He was still great there, too. But I get what u mean, that world title run stalled a couple more months until he jumped ship to TNA.
Dude, the last costume is the freaking best, that's how I remember Kurt Angle.
That was one of his all time worst. Go back to the Attitude & early Ruthless Agression days. They were legit.

Aaron Marquez Because, sadly, in a word - Benoit. Benoit is too tied to Angle's early stories and then as part of the Smackdown Six near the top of the card for years together. You'd need to cut out a big chunk of 2000-2001 stuff and 2003-2006 stuff if you did do an Angle career Showcase mode.

Man who else can say they beat Hulk Hogan, John Cena, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels. Kurt Angle is def one of best to ever step in the ring.
In WWE Angle was also 2000 King of the Ring. Small note, on the video where he won the WHC, Mark Henry had his dreads in 2006. Otherwise, good stuff.
