    Thanks for the video. I was able to get a special deal on a losi 22s. Now I know what things to look for to make the car run straight and be consistence.

    Great info but quick queation. The digital trigger pull gauge when adjusting im assuming you adjust by turning the shock screw?

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your question, and I'm glad you found the information helpful. When using a digital trigger pull gauge to adjust your shocks to 6.25 pounds each, you are correct in your assumption. To increase the tension on the spring, simply tighten the shock adjustable nut. This method allows you to precisely adjust the shocks to your desired level of tension for optimal performance. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, please feel free to ask.

    What are you thought on 22s vs dr10? I just subscribed

      "Thank you for subscribing! When comparing the Losi 22S to the Associated DR10, both are top-notch RC cars. With some fine-tuning, they can perform equally well, despite variations in weight, electronics, gearing, and tires. I genuinely believe you can excel with any of these choices, including the Traxxas Drag Slash."

    Did the wd40 help that much with grip? My 22s has no grip off the line.

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, using WD40 can significantly boost your traction by making the tire rubber softer. Here's a simple process to follow: When you first take the tires out of their packaging, give them a spray with Simple Green. Then, find a rug (I'm using the Lifewit Premium 2 Pack Indoor Mat, it works well) and do a burnout on it. This burnout helps remove any oil residue from the tires. After that, move to a dry section of the rug and perform another burnout. This heats up the tires and makes them sticky for maximum traction. It's worth noting that I usually do two burnouts, as you can see in my other videos, to ensure the best grip possible.

      Hello Greg,
      First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your service as a disabled veteran. Your sacrifice and dedication are truly appreciated.
      I'm genuinely sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you're having with Active Powersports. I don't have personal experience with them, so I can't provide specific insights into their operations. However, I understand your concerns.
      On a positive note, if you're expecting to receive your 1/10 scale RC Summit drag car in the middle of January and you were able to secure it at the advertised price of $163.19, it might be worth waiting until that time to see if they fulfill your order. Sometimes, there can be delays due to various reasons, and they might still intend to deliver your purchase.
      In the meantime, you might also want to consider checking the Better Business Bureau's Customer Reviews for Active Powersports online retailer at the following link:
      Customer Reviews for Active Powersports on BBB
      www.bbb.org/us/ca/escondido/profile/online-retailer/active-powersports-1126-1000081567/customer-reviews
      This could provide you with some additional insights from other customers who may have had similar experiences with the retailer.
      Again, I'm sorry to hear about your current situation, and I hope that your order arrives as expected in January. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    What does the wd 40 do for the rubber

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "When you put WD40 on your tires and let them sit in a sealed bag for a day, it makes the rubber on the tires softer. After that, when you put those tires on your RC car, you should do two burnouts. Spray some Simple Green on the tires and do a burnout on a fabric rug until the tire is clean. Then, move to a dry spot on the rug and do another burnout to dry the tire and make it hot. Now, you're ready to hit the track, and you'll see how the tires grip better."

    Any idea on how to get the rear wheels to track straight.....love the content....😎👍

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man. Sure thing! To get your rear wheels to track straight on your Losi 22S, here's a simple breakdown:
      1. **Weight Distribution**: Make sure your car's weight is evenly distributed. With everything on it, aim for about 34% of the weight on the front and 66% on the back. Place the battery as far forward as possible.
      2. **Shock Setup**: Start with the correct shock oil weight for both the front and rear shocks. Set the shocks to be fully compressed when 6.25 pounds of weight are applied to each shock with the springs on them.
      3. **Tire Prep**: Treat your tires for at least 24 hours to make them grippy and soft. Clean them by spraying with Simple Green, and then do two burnouts on a fabric carpet to clean and heat up the factory tires. Properly heated tires provide better traction.
      4. **Throttle Testing**: Give the car a 25% throttle pass to check if it tracks straight. This helps ensure that the car can mechanically go straight. If it does, move on to the next step.
      5. **Progressive Throttle Test**: Increase the throttle to 50% to 75% and observe if the car stays straight or tends to turn left during launch.
      6. **Adjusting Spring Tension**: If the car veers left with higher power, you may need to make adjustments to the spring tension. Add more tension to the spring on the back right side or release tension on the left back side, depending on your current setup and shock settings.
      7. **Visual Reference**: For step 3 Check out my video titled "Losi 22s Drag RC Car 2022 01 04 2.9 second pass | 43 MPH." You'll see how the condition of the tires can affect the car's straight-line tracking from the launch position, (Tires not heated properly on the first attempt).
      I hope this info helps you get your Losi 22S to track straight and improve your performance!

      @@paulpadilla5288 Hello, Let me know how the car performs after the installation of the exotek parts for the rear. I have another two RC cars that I am working on for No Prep RC Drag Racing.
      I have the carbon fiber losi Bullet chassis based of the Losi 5.0 Buggy and the Losi 22S Carbon Fiber Chassis by NOONER RC. I am using the 22S ARM MOUNTS on both cars so far so that I can adjust the Toe and Anti Squat Settings on the back of the car.
