- Let’s make an umbrella wreath in gorgeous rainbow colors!
In this step-by-step video, I'll guide you through the fun and creative process of making this stunning umbrella wreath. Using Dollar Tree wreath frames, both deco mesh and poly burlap mesh and easy-to-follow steps, you'll learn how to create a beautiful wreath that will brighten up any space. This creation is perfect for a baby shower, baby nursery or for any space that could use a touch of whimsy! If you’re looking for a unique décor idea, this tutorial is perfect for you. So grab your supplies and let's get started on this DIY umbrella wreath project. Remember, April showers bring May flowers!
For this particular wreath, I used 2 rolls of white poly burlap and just partial rolls of the purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red deco mesh. Altogether, I used 8 pieces of purple, 7 pieces of blue, 9 green, 10 yellow, 10 orange, and 9 red for a total of 53 petals before adding the daisies.
I first saw something similar made by my friend, Laura Grisham, and I just fell in love with it! She used different materials and a different petal style, but I want to give her the credit for this awesome idea! Below are the links to her Facebook page and TH-cam channel. Thanks again, Laura!

I wish ladies gave me credit for my art projects, never in my TH-cam life, has this been given to me I've had ladies take my mop angel, my Easter egg beehive, my book art ( tree) and many other projects, make their own video, on their own established channel. I've been crafting since I was 9. Mophead doll, taught to me from my grandmother, most other ideas, just mine. No one has ever done this blessing, to me. I didn't finish your video. I just wanted to say a big thank you, for giving credit to the artist that gave you, the umbrella idea This, is rare. This, is an Artists, miracle. Keep up the commardrie, while most others, are just copycats, and disrespectful. Creating videos, off my back and 50 years of arts n crafts experiences. #originalartist #artisfreedom #respectgoesaLongway ❤
I truly believe in giving credit where credit is due. I hope one day, you’ll get the credit you deserve from your projects!

Thanks! Yes I fused each of the colors of deco mesh with the white poly burlap.
Thank you

Very pretty. You did a great job with the colors and creativity. Where is Laura’s flower tutorial? I didn’t see it on YT. Thanks for sharing your version.
She never did a tutorial which is why I asked her if I could do it! She does have pictures on her facebook page, though.
@@crookedtreecreations ok thanks.
Beautiful!
Flower tutorials are on my TH-cam channel.🌷
I love this. Is it alright if I recreate this, giving you full credit, of course?
Oh goodness, absolutely! Happy crafting! ❤️
@@crookedtreecreations Thank you🩷
👋👍😃👧 yes
😊
I feel like you could make a lemon slice out of that too half hmmm
I thought of that, too! Any citrus or even a watermelon slice!
How many petals did you use
I believe it was 53 altogether.
The 3x3 plastic canvas did you buy that or cut it?
I just cut that out using the plastic canvas left over.
☔
Why is it necessary to line the poly burlap
It helps with fraying. Even though there are no edge lines showing in this petal, it makes it easier to work with.
Where did you get those zip ties from I never seen them that short
I get them from amazon. amzn.to/3Q6fpP5
How many of each color?
Altogether, I used 8 pieces of purple, 7 pieces of blue, 9 green, 10 yellow, 10 orange, and 9 red for a total of 53 petals before adding the daisies.
Do you sale the wreath forms
No, I don’t. If you can’t find these at your local Dollar Tree, you might be able to order them from Etsy or Amazon.
@@crookedtreecreations ok thanks
How many petals in total?
That’s 53 total petals before adding the daisies.
How many petals for the three daisies@@crookedtreecreations
@luzberenguer9217 12 petals for each daisy.
Please stop saying OK sooooo much.
I know! If we played a drinking game during my videos, a sip for each time I said “okay”, we’d get smashed! 😂 I’ve tried in the past to not say it, but I’m not being my true authentic self. I just decided to embrace my imperfections and go with it! Okay? 😁
