I have two Shubunkin, a common Plecko, an Oranda and two Fantails that have all outgrown their 55 gallon tank indoors. I have no room for a larger tank or another 55 gallon tank inside. My buddy has wanted to Build a pond in his backyard for years but there is so much work and maintenance involved. I never thought that it could be as simple as what I see in your videos. You’ve inspired us and given my fish a chance for a long life. Perhaps we could put some strawberries in the plant beds and do a little “Aquaponics.” Thank you for not only sharing but showing as well.

Hello. I did the same filter system as you shown. Just one issue where the water pump is under the filter the water doesn’t fill much in the third compartment. Any reason for that.
There are 3 reasons 1 / The pump has too large capacity 2 / 3rd compartment too small 3 / the water hose connecting the compartment is too small My video demonstrates how it works If you want it to work well, you need to satisfy the things I mentioned above

Hello. I did the same filter system as you shown. Just one issue where the water pump is under the filter the water doesn’t fill much in the third compartment. Any reason for that.
There are 3 reasons
1 / The pump has too large capacity
2 / 3rd compartment too small
3 / the water hose connecting the compartment is too small
