It's interesting. They clearly used the Dreamcast version while trying to simulate the lighting from the PS1. I'm not sure if it's worth a price tag of 20$, but at least it will open up some options to mod it via the PC version. On sale, I'd still call this a win.
I prefer the color/style of the PS1 version. I wish they had made new high res textures for that look. That being said, this doesn't read as a "remaster" to me at all? It appears to literally be the Dreamcast version, with a better lighting engine that isn't even utilized that well.
@NeoGamer oh thank you so much for that context! It's known Sam Jackson asked for the purple lightsaber when he got the part, so still odd Lucasfilm didn't correct. But maybe that conversation was when filming Episode 2.
In many ways Dreamcast version is a downgrade of PS1 version despite running at a better resolution. Especially on the Trade Federation Battleship, PS1 version has dark textures just like in the movie, while Dreamcast version is a mess. It's a shame that the remaster was based on Dreamcast version.
Remaster acertado, uma vez que a versão Dreamcast, possui melhor gráficos, pelo fato do console da Sega ser da Sexta Geração, e o Plastation 1 ser da Quinta Geração!
The PS1 version shows how artistic style could look better than technical advancements

I love this video well done

Wtf why is his lightsaber only purple in the remaster? That's such an odd thing for the original to do.
This game was released before episode 2, the first movie to show his lightsaber.

@@SideWalkWalking At some point there was a cannon explanation on why he had a blue one during ep 1, but it's probably not canon anymore so idk
