The historical Takmak fort is arranged in Vasai Tehsil, Thane District.Takmak fort got criticalness after Chimaji Appa's Vasai battle. Marathawarrior won Takmak fort in 1732 from Portuguese. I went here this month, it is very very difficult. In Summers never go here. You can die of dehydration. Also very confusing. No proper route or road. I fell several times. Not recommended for anyone cause there are small rolling stones which will make you slip and fall. Also its very risky.
