Does Grandma Ventures live in the same house as you and Ashley?.. I love how you all banter with each other. My favourite is when the three of you do the unpacking. Your a lovely family and I love all your videos. ❤
The cards are called ATCs, "Artist Trading cards", and are traded among paper crafters. These would probably be very collectable among the paper crafters. A lot of work and effort went into these cards. I use to trade with my craft friends a few years back and still have a few,
Hi Wade, thank you for another great video. One thing that caught my attention is a CD from Paco de Lucia. He was one of the best Spaniard guitarrist, if not the best and was also an international artist. He passed away a few years ago, leaving a young family behind. I think that you should put that CD on Ebay alone, because you know what happens when an artist passes away, people want to buy their music. I still can't figure out whether these people had a craft store or were good and organized hoarders 😂😂😂 but I enjoy every video from these people. Can't wait for your auction. Keep staying at home and do social distancing, wear mask and gloves when going out and stay safe and healthy. My blessings to the whole Venture family. Take care! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I would like everyone to meet the Ventures family, Wade, Ashley and Grandma ventures, they bought 3 absolutely packed storage units and started working on them during the coronavirus in 2020 now 5 years later there are still working on the boxes!
Oh man Wade.... so bacon grease is used to season veggies, cook eggs, to grease an iron skillet and make cornbread in, fry potatoes or pretty much anything you would fry.
With the fantastylion of stamps and crafting stuff, I‘d definitely would consider to add an Etsy shop to your family business. And I really wish, shipping between the US and Europe weren’t that expensive. Anyway the three of you just keep on making our days brighter these days.....e.g. with bride lamps...😂😂😂😂
Always save your bacon grease, save it in the fridge! Its good in a lot of vegies, tasty for just frying eggs. All kinds of stuff, Oh and dried beans.. put some bacon grease in while cooking.
The best. My mom used eather the bacon grease or the big cans of lard. There was always one of those in the house. She made everything her self bread, donuts, rolls, buns, I grew up on homemade everything she cooked for 10 people 8 kids plus mom and dad. And there was always one or two friends over for dinner. My mom was know for her good food she made bread 2 to 3 times a week.
the Georgia lady will explain the bacon grease. first, you never throw bacon grease away. i use it in place of lard, crisco etc in many many recipes, also to grease a pan you are cooking in...eat a piece of cornbread out of a cast iron pan greased with bacon grease and you will never eat any other corn bread again. the snowman pieces are from target 2003 holiday debbie mumm line, i had a service for 8 in alllll of it. only recall the year as it was the winter before hurricane charlie...
Before the modern day cooking oil everyone cooked with animal fats (Lard). Butchers shops sold it as Beef Dripping and had machinery to render down suet to make the lard which solidified and was sold in waxed paper packages. It was considered unhealthy for heart and arteries and was phased out to be replaced with olive oil etc thats used today
We had a store just like what's in this storage unit it was a stamp and scrap booking store and at the entrance it had a bubble machine blowing bubbles. It closed right around 2011 which is weird as someone who has lived in many places never saw another store like it. But I'm on the southeast coast so unless they were originally from the west chances are slim it's the same person nontheless it's exactly what they carried instore...it would be really crazy if it was!
Lol, marriage of the lamps.. the look that passed between the girls about the bags,, the laughter & fun you share.. lovely !! The stamps are amazing to see but I’d never have the patience to use them !
Just to give you some info. The art cards are from an artist named Mary Englebreight. You had some mugs in another video that were from her as well. When you see the ME emblem, it’s usually hers. She was very popular in the 90’s.
I love laughing with all of you, I have never seen stamps like that but I can see the attraction in them, one of my sisters who is interested in crafting would love them. I have plenty of toilet rolls but tissues are so hard to find here, though its not a problem for you lol. I creased up with laughter at Wade's fun with the lamp based and the so called veil, my laughter turn into a coughing session lol. Ashley you are quiet but with hidden depths sweetheart, you have a beautiful smile. And Grandma Ventures you are so right, toilet rolls are precious lol. Take care and stay safe please everyone, love and hugs to you all and the boys Mary-Ellen UK
Hi sweet family, when you throw a coaster hard enough it will go coast to coast. From your shore to mine.. beautiful stamps and the detailed cards are so unique. What a fun time you are all comedians,, princess Bell sends her best regards. Margaret n Iceland
Hi ashley grandma wade how have you time to do gardening with all storage boxes love the acorn love the green lamp i love the stamps the money made on just stamps must be amaseing they are beautifull them cards nice lot of boxes tonight stay safe carolukx
Those bottle bottoms are what they made those tree hangers you auctioned off with the glitter etc. if you look at the different shapes you will see that that is what they used for the base gluing the different coloured glitter and painting them. Probably why they collected so much seemingly to you trash, they were probably looking at ways to recycle a lot of it, or upcycle, making something else out of something you would normally throw away.
In the card binder beginning at 29:29, I believe that those cards are Mary Engelbreit. Jack (Locker Nuts) recently had a TON of Mary Engelbreit items. Those cards definitely look like the items that Jack had! Mary Engelbreit items can be worth a TON of money!!!!!
OMG... Gramma Ventures is hilarious!!! And i love when Ashley laughs at her jokes! I am new to this channel and ive been. binge watching you guys for days now!!!
The little food (chihuahua) bowl we used for rabbits, iguanas, turtles and kittens etc......I remember my Godmother using bacon grease when she fried hamburgers and toasted buns back in the 60's and there is no better taste... :)
I'm with you Ashley, we don't have to see every stamp, CD, DVD, roll of toilet paper or count the tissue boxes...It must get boring for you as well.... Open the bag... yup more tissues.. push it aside.... :)
Drippings can often be used when cooking. Very tasty. Gives flavor. It is often used with Fried eggs instead of butter. Fried Eggs taste far better ! The strainer on tip is to seperate the liquid from the unwanted bacon pieces at the bottom of the drippings.
Oh, Wade, use the froggie foot stamps around the rim of your plain terra cotta pots with some paint. And the foam stamps are great for decorating them and furniture and walls, too. The dragonfly one is my favorite.
This has probably been said...but...looking at all these stamps...I’m wondering if those “drawings” are stamps that they took the time to embellish instead of hand drawing those barns and other things. It’s amazing talent either way but just a thought that maybe the drawings are stamps that they “Doctor up”...what do y’all think? I’m enjoying all these unboxing videos! Mama grandma Ventures is so funny!
I am astounded about all the packing of this stuff! Must have spent as much on packing as the items. At least you won't have to buy packing materials to ship the item!
The prices that are on all those stamps are probably not the price they paid for each stamp, but is the asking sales price in their store/shop. The square white napkins are not in their original packaging because they likely took them from the restaurants they ate at. They had to eat as they traveled.
Hi guys You have to have the funniest videos. All those stamps are awesome. The big ones are so cool. The binders with the artist trading cards should be worth a pretty penny. These are the best auction storage units I've ever seen. Leta

In Australia that is not for Bacon grease, it looks like a single serve Soup Terrine.

My mom fried everything in bacon grease had a coffee can on the stove. Chicken fried in bacon grease was the best.
Green beans! I must have a tsp in my green beans yum yum it's old school southern cooking where everything was used and nothing was wasted.

Jennifer Vibbert my cornbread recipe calls for cooking oil, great big knob of bacon grease, oh, so good.
