Finally, a doctor that realizes the the cam-boot/walker, isn’t always the best choice. I have chronic plantar fasciitis now because of ‘the boot’. Worse invention ever.

My brother was diagnosed with Charcot feet years ago and he has been wearing specially made orthopedic boots. Before that diagnosis he never took his diabetes seriously. It used to be in the thirties. Now he pays attention, near-keto diet and his level is around six but one potato and it goes through the roof. Thank you for the info, my brother never told the name of his foot issues.

Thank you so much for the update. I was just wondering yesterday how he was getting on. I understand only too well about the problems and frustrations of wearing a cast. I really understand the frustrations of daily living and of working with a cast but for goodness sake Acute Charcots is not to be messed with and especially getting it wet

Since you're JAWS Podiatry, I was really hoping it was Shark-o foot! Good luck to your patient and his compliance. "There is no try, only do!" ~ Yoda

I hope he does do! I feel sorry for him having to work and it is a shame he got the cast wet but things happen. I wish him a speedy recovery with no complications. Doctor Wagner you can only do so much and then it is up to the patient. Thank you for the update.🦶❤️💖🥰

why did he let the cast get so damaged? having been in this position at some point in my life, i realize the care involved in caring for the injured area & in keeping the cast dry.
