Wow ! The Hi-Lo's singing "Georgia on my mind" Great !.... Gene Puerling Bass and arranger, Bob Morse Baritone, Clark Burroughs High Tenor and multi-reed player and awesome singer Don Shelton Tenor ! Gene and Don along with Bonnie Herman and Len Dresslar formed The Singers Unlimited... The greatest vocal group in history in my humble opinion !
ES ASOMBROSO QUE DESPUÉS DE 27 AÑOS DE SU FUNDACIÓN,ESTE EXCEPCIONAL CUARTETO VOCAL SIGA SONANDO COMO EN SUS PRINCIPIOS,SUS VOCES PARECEN CONSERVAR SU TIMBRE Y CLARIDAD COMO SI EL TIEMPO NO HUBIERA PASADO.
My dad did the editing for Gene's published arrangements. It was a wonderful time for vocal harmony music in colleges and high schools.
Phil Mattson was a legend. Love the recordings of the PM Singers and I've sung a bunch of the Puerling charts he edited. Your dad's legacy lives on.
THANK you for uploading this. There has never been a group like them.
