Jerry Sally and Glen Duncan really hit it out of the park with with this song. It should go down as a future classic. It combines great lyrics and a chord progression that is pretty unique in Bluegrass music. Of course it sounds like it was custom composed for Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver. I can’t think of anyone that would do a better job singing it than Jerry Cole-great voice for this song and a real talent. Job well done everyone!
The harmonies in this song are so perfect. I’m an older rock/metal guy but I love Doyle and Quicksilver. These harmonies do something to your soul. It’s beautiful!
