This is such a well-known song that we're sure no one will credit us with having written it. We've produced two albums of original hymns, listing all the original composers and giving them credit for the beautiful words and music.
When i heard the first stanza , I wonder if i had wrongly clicked the video of Elvis Presley! Took a closer look. Oh i had not! Keep up the great job done, guys!!! Seventh-Day Adventist Forever ! :))
This song has been on my heart lately....it was one of my husbands favorites, we would always sing it as a family when he was called to preach at church....I lost him a little over a year and a half ago and his favorite hymns that I would sing often in church come to mind.....you guys have wonderful gifts and love that you are using them to His glory.
a beautiful rendition - thank you for posting it. Whenever I miss my Grandmother I play this song on youtube... we sang it at her funeral, and every time I hear it I can hear her singing it... I'm back as a child in the kitchen of our home, listening to her sing it while she folds laundry... a beautiful place to remember. Thank you!
Great rendition of this one, guys. I love the 3-part harmony. This is one of my all-time favorite hymns. It's just too bad that it's only sung at Easter morning services! It's a good re-telling of Jesus' experience in the Garden of Gethsemane. Again, great job on this song.
Hi there! This is gorgeous. I was wondering if my daughter could use it to make an imovie for our pastor who is retiring. Would you be okay with that if she gave you credit at the end?
Very beautiful but SHAME not mentioning the name of the composer of this classic: Charles Austin Miles (1868-1946). I just do not understand why the Christian community has decided to forget the names of the creators if these inspiring gospel songs. Most TH-cam postings make it appear as if the performer was also the composer.
This brings me to tears. I think of My loved ones in Heaven.
