Watching this again before Halloween '23 and it's still so good. Genuinely unsettling, but builds up to it slowly, like older horror films used to do, so when everything kicks off it feels more unsettling because it's grounded in reality.

Just commenting after the premier. Absolutely amazing! It goes above and beyond last years prank which I also found fantastic. Everyone was great but I have to say Char was exceptional during that final act. Bravo, bravo! I know how much work went into it, I can say it was worth every second!
Genuinely impressed with this. To pull off a full length feature takes some tucked balls! MVP for me was Char, her acting/improv was incredibly believable. Loved the bike line 'Well that's not real!'. Hoping this is going to be a yearly thing after last years short Congrats!!

A slow burn that built up the tension beautifully. This is what found footage is meant to be. And a brilliant performance from all the Girls, but Char is the standout for sure.
Acting, story plot, and special effects were very impressive! I enjoyed your movie from beginning to end. I actually believed that the others wanted to leave and were genuinely upset with River's choice of location. Loved the jump scares, got my heart racing!

ive watched you for many years, because the humour, chemistry and editing that make up your videos provides good entertainment for when I'm eating my tea, of course. But what makes your videos create a little flutter in my belly when I see you have a new upload, is that I know I'm going to see a display of raw intelligence, and talent. Consistently, every time.
Don't thank me yet bitch I wasn't finished I got quite emotional watching this film, because it was seeing all your skills and talents homed over all these years making silly videos, converge into a true piece of art. And even though I don't know any of you, I felt so proud of you all watching it. you all did such a good job with the acting. I’ll tell you something right now. Ask anyone who knows me. I NEVER jump at the scares in horror/scary movies. But I did at this. Amazingly well put together. You just keep getting better and better.

1:09:56 I just watched the outtakes roll and this is the shot that impressed me so much. Not just the legwork splicing but the framing of Char and the tree line. When I first watched it, I thought "nice scrambling of drone shots" - but to know the scene was created otherwise is doubly formidable. Incredible shot direction. Where else can you get sardonic drag pumpkin carving, earnest domestic craft showcase, somber local true crime, and then a cleanly produced feature length horror in one month? More than anything the passion is admirable and worth supporting. Because when the credits roll, it's amazing to see the footprint on the factory is a handful of single names. Virtuous.
I've gotta say, I'm impressed but not surprised at how good this was. The acting was believable, it kept my interest, wasn't hard to follow (but not predictable), & it actually creeped me out. Not me sitting down to watch this finally with happy hobbit ambient music in the background and my eyes basically over my eyes for the second half because I can't handle jump scares as an adult. So good! And particularly impressed with Char's acting!! Her voiceover work near the end is five stars!!!

Things I noticed (Spoilers ahead- and maybe obvious but I'm not sure lol) > > > > 1. The boot they found was the same boots that Nova was wearing in the beginning (and the last time we see her.) 2. Glens happy face shirt went from normal to crazy at the end. 3. Char was wearing a purple jumper the last time we see her. 4. Novympia must REALLY hate Char. Now that I realize there's so many hidden things, I'm going to have to rewatch it closely.

My theory is that glenda had planned the whole thing and was actually the boy who went missing 30 years ago somehow came back as an alien, recruited the queens to become new hosts for the aliens to possss and take human form. It was glen all along!!!!😮
Great, now I’m going to spend the rest of my life wondering if I’ve been abducted by aliens and just don’t remember 😕

The acting was A++ the editing was other worldly, and the story was thought provoking and well built. Glennda and Char truly surprised me too with their improv and acting abilities.

Not me sitting down to watch this finally with happy hobbit ambient music in the background and my eyes basically over my eyes for the second half because I can't handle jump scares as an adult. So good! And particularly impressed with Char's acting!! Her voiceover work near the end is five stars!!!
Spectacular! So well done. I think it's hilarious that TH-cam's captions translate all the heavy breathing and gasping as just simply "Foreign". Things I noticed (Spoilers ahead- and maybe obvious but I'm not sure lol)
