I didn’t even know something like this existed!! Thank you sooooo much for the review! I have hyperlactation syndrome and donate to the hospital (where I have to use disposable bags) but I donate to a few low income moms in my town who can’t afford the steep costs of formula they need. I probably spend double on milk bags than what I would on formula so it adds up quick when you use 20 milk bags a day 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ so nice to see a practical reusable option!

I have the Junobie reusable ones, they’re similar but have a slider top attachment. I absolutely love them! They’re easier to clean than bottles. I have an oversupply so I don’t use them to freeze milk though. But I noticed you mentioned your little one prefers fresh milk, I noticed my milk stays fresher in the fridge in these bags than in bottles. I have high lipase but it turns quicker in regular bottles, within a couple hours. With the silicone bags it stays fresh even overnight.

Awesome! I had never heard of those but I’m definitely going to look into them!

These seem like an awesome invitation. I don't think they will work for my storage needs. But if/when I return to work and need to pump and being It home these would be perfect and I would feel so much better about using them vs so much singing use plastic. I also think they would be great for lifelong use. They would be great for school lunches and road trip snack bags. Your reviews are always so helpful! Thank you!

There are also the playtex silicone pods that are only $3 each! And they don’t let any air in because they have a screw top

Love your reviews and the fact that you go into depth about it. That being said how would you say this differs from just using storage bottles, at the end the way you explained it was very similar to just having the bottles. I’m just trying to figure if it’s worth getting. I don’t get average output but I also don’t have a supply like yourself.

When you’re out pumping you’ll take ones to pump into and additional ones to store into. If you’re only pumping one time this wouldnt apply so I should have said that. But if you’re pumping multiple times instead of storage bottles you could take the bags. You’d probably be able to fit more in them without taking up as much space as the bottles. I hope that makes sense lol!

I donated with my first 2 kiddos and the 3 families I consistently donated to had me storage in mason jars. I’m hoping to be able to donate again when #3 is here, and I think these would be a good idea. Would be an investment, but we don’t have to buy anything for this little one. And we can use them when I’m done 🤔

Have you thought about trying out mason jars as an reusable option for a review for storing milk

I did this. I like it you just have to be careful how you heat them bc I’ve broken a few bc or heating too fast and the glass expands and I cried sooo hard.

Same as Brittany! I could never get the hang of hearing them up and lost all my milk😕

Haakaa also just came out with silicone breast milk bags too. They hold the most and can be frozen on their side.

I wish that being healthier didn’t cost so much. You use way more than 6 and 50 for 6 is insane!!

I agree, if we didn’t already have a bunch of cheap disposable things and this was standard practice, I wonder if it would cost as much😕

Can you do a review on milkies milk trays?

    • @MommaAlia

I did! It’s in a collective review of the Milkies brand. In my reviews playlist you’ll find it a few years back!

Hi was just wondering how many oz your baby drinks a feeding?

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Still between 3-4 oz, depends on a few variables!
