Second of all, it’s called heaven studio on itch so just search it up and download it from there (it’s in the description as well)^^ The map is by Dangitznile (I’ve linked his channel in the description) you can download any of his remixes from the heaven studio discord! (Can be found on the itch main page) (okay fine maybe it was kinda fun) *“Why does it say 96? Didn’t you perfect it?”* This game is based on accuracy alone. A hit is only partial points. To get 100, you need to ACE every input. This is indicated by the rainbow sparkle on the sides. Getting a 100 is virtually impossible. It’s practically frame perfect. *“Latency is kinda rough. It feels so offset when I play”* Yeah, sadly heaven studio isn’t PERFECT in this department. And even what I’ve done doesn’t fully fix the issue. But it does help. 1. Really recommend not wireless. Wireless headphone are very bad for rhythm games 2. Sample rate should be set to your audio sample rate (it’s in sound settings->sound control panel->properties) 3. Lower dsp seems to work better for me (I think you don’t want it too low tho, but you’ll have to experiment) *“Are you insane?”* Probably

One huge source of latency in rhythm games that I rarely see discussed is equalizers. If your sound card has a built-in equalizer, it usually ships turned on, and you gotta shut it off (usually it's in the start menu, something called like, "realtek control panel" or something). Similarly, you have to turn off volume normalization, spatial sound, and any other enhancements under the Windows sound control panel. Applying an equalizer to sound requires processing that sound, which introduces latency. Worse, because it doesn't take the same amount of time to process every part of the stream, it introduces _variable_ latency, so it might be several frames of one note, but only one or two on the next. Even games with calibration can't account for it. You gotta get that sound going up the wire and into your ears with as few in-between steps as possible.

It's based on accuracy. If you look at the edges, the rainbow means a perfect input while the yellow stars mean a good enough input. To get 100 you need to get all rainbow (aka impossible)

I personally don't understand why the timing is mapped to a mouse swipe. Wouldn't it be better if it was mapped to a button press, such as the keyboard?
