This shit first dropped in 2007... This album and "The Common Man's Collapse" (Veil of Maya) hit SOOO hard back in the day and still slap in 2022. Cameron also said that he wrote like 95% of "The New Reign", dude is a legend.

Just recently discovered Cam wrote The New Reign and with the exception of Exist (Lee's writing), also wrote A Higher Place. Pretty sick.
I recorded every instrument on The New Reign and A Higher Place besides vocals (obvi) with the exception of the song Exist. Lee wrote that one 💚

@@CameronLosch Now Arise is still one of the best songs I’ve ever listened to. That album is borderline magical. I still remember the first time i heard it, i was out of state visiting family and had to try to get itunes running on their garbage computer so i could get it onto my ipod. It was worth the hassle. I was totally blown away

Love that guitar tone. You know, Cameron writes all of BOO’s songs, including guitar sometimes and you can tell its Cams work. His channel has some of the greasiest music, ESPECIALLY guitar riffs I’ve ever heard. He the most underrated musician in existence.

The mic at 5:18 looks like a Beyer 121. Although that placement would be weird for a hypercardioid ribbon mic. My best guess is it’s a mid-side mic to get the cymbals to the left and right and some snare probably. 🤷🏼♂️
