Had a collection come in last month, Did over a 1,000 Joe's from the Straight arm to the Star brigade, half needed Oring replacement, all needed to be paired up with weapons (and those were all in 2 shoe boxes) was a pain in the butt, but I had so much fun seeing all of them.
Seems tedious, thank you for doing it!!! Talking to a buddy while doing it is the way to go though. Great video as always. I need to come by the shop and pick up some Mythics soon.
I feel it could be frustrating but also satisfying, awhile back I sorted almost all my stuff that was lose pairing everything the best I could in bags, it was satisfying. Now in big totes like you have, you may remember me commenting about stacking totes. Still not sure what I will do, as I just have too much stuff, but its a relief that its sorted and less chaotic now.
LIFE HACK: those bag tear offs. I get a 10” piece of boxing tape, stick it back to its self and attach it so something near by. i tear it off the bag and stick it on the tape. when full i toss it and make another. i used to hate them too.
Those late 2000s/RoC Joe’s are a pain to match up with all the tiny accessories they came with across variants and exclusives. Compound that with their value being nowhere near the classic vintage Joe line and you got to consider sunken costs.
