Did you know that in 536 the Volcán of Ilopango in San Salvador had an eruption and creating the birth of the Lake of Ilopango .The eruption is famous because caused the area to be in darkness. Lago de Coatepeque is beautiful too!Thanks for the video

Coatepeque is incredible like the entire El Salvador but the hotel prices are just insane. I've stayed for less in 4star hotels in Dubai. Same insane hotel prices by the coast as well. Hopefully, more hotels will appear across the country and prices will normalize a bit soon.
Really? I found that the hotel prices are actually very reasonable and comparable to what you would pay in the city as well. The Residence (Apartment options) was less than most local beachfront Airbnbs with the same amount of space as well and you could bring your own food 😊 El Salvador is AMAZING and while it may be more expensive than other areas it is still much less expensive to vacation here than the US for example where a budget hotel would cost more than our stay at this incredible hotel.
It's a beautiful place. Have a small home available for airbnb. About 15 minutes from the lake. 3 rooms w /ac garage for 1 car secure and wifi available. subdivision with guards and cameras at entry gates.
