The actor who plays Tyler was not told what she was going to do dance wise, Jenna Ortega came up with the moves herself from references and it was kept secret until she did it. The script only said Wednesday starts to dance and Tyler copies her moves so his reactions were mostly filmed on the first take and genuine ones. He felt he wasn't dancing enough and told Tim Burton all he could do is gawp at her and Tim Burton said "no, that's good. Guys will be able to relate to you" so they kept most of his initial reactions hence the lack of much movement lol.

I teared up for Eugene in the end of the episode. Proof that Wednesday truly does care about her friends.

The reason I started watching lol
Quick tip: you should say"bravissima"if you're only talking about Jenna and"bravissimi"if you're talking about all of them(Jenna,Tim Burton and The Cramps).
Jenna was also sick with covid when she filmed the dance. During the couple hours it took to get the results back from her test they filmed the scene. She said she felt terrible and wheb it came back positive they whisked her off the set. She actually wanted to do it again when she was well because she thought she could do better but they didn't have time.
Well that's wasn't very smart from them

I just have to add that I find the stupidity of the bullies really shines through when they urge Enid to 'wolf-out'. Really guys, you want a werewolf to manifest in front of you. You would be crying like babies when she tries to eviscerate both of your bellies. And then a Gorgon shows up who can turn you temporarily into stone. Some might say that the bullies are brave, but their stupidity shines through attacking a school of dangerous beings. I want a scene in the next season where someone, one of their parents, points it out to them.
i love this show, she did such an amazing job and she had to learn how to not blink so much. i’ve already finished the season, i can’t wait for the next season. favorite part in the whole season all i’m gonna say is the dancing part which she made up herself. i like xavier a lot, he’s not weird at all he tries to be nice, and if you noticed the teacher with the glasses she’s the real wednesday from the other one.
The fact that Ajax is a stoner is soo sad because the guy that plays him has a luxurious head of hair that needs to be seen everywhere.

With all the relationship drama, Ajax is pretty childish for this episode. Enid thinks she was stood up and he apparently just didn't bring up what happened to him (until after the dance that is). But he then brings a date to the dance and gets upset at Enid for having her own date. Like, bro?
Doesn't sound too far off from what an everyday dude would do if in that position lol (still pretty childish but it's realistic)

I adore 'Siouxsie & the Banshees'! The album 'Once Upon A Time' is classic!! Tim Burton has used their music before so I'm hoping to hear them in Season 2.
