Great videos guys. You don't need to announce the time between finding every antler! LOL Takes me hours and days in between finding sheds usually. You make it look easy.
@@mmoutdoors3122 what state ya our public land here is a waste doesn’t hold deer at all I walk harddddd feb March and April Usually end up with 28-35 sheds it’s tough here
@@mmoutdoors3122 oh I ain’t gonna cry over my numbers lol our public land here is an absolute joke mostly because it gets hammered baddddd by amish and small game hunters come shed time deer are not even there and as of lately can’t keep sneaky walkers from shed hunting all my properties
Trespassing has gotten bad in recent years as shed hunting popularity has risen. I run a lot of cell cams and make sure we have posted signs on properties we can only hunt. Also helps for us to kinda scout our properties from the road and we can watch if anyone is trying to get into there
@@mmoutdoors3122 I found I a couple weeks ago.And a lot are still holding here..And we have a bunch of snow .But my dog and I do pretty good for where we live..Last year 54.Year before 76.That’s with no help from anyone.Just us 2😉
I just have a hard time seeing the addiction to shed hunting.Tresspassing is bad in southeast Iowa.I can see looking for a target buck your looking for to see if he made it through gun season.But good grief,,,is it the hobby,nothing else better to do,free money laying on the ground?
For us it’s just the hobby. We run into the same trespassing problem on a lot of farms. I think the biggest part of shed hunting we all love is getting together with buddies and just having a good time together. Most of us are college friends that live hours apart and this is what we do to get together every year. Not a single one of us sells the antlers because they bring back the memories of us all being together and good times. Kind of like the camaraderie of a deer camp, just for sheds instead of deer
@@mmoutdoors3122 My feelings exactly. I just love finding antlers. It is a fantastic winter activity to get us out of the house and one of my favorite times of the year. Some people love mushroom hunting, some love fishing, some love arrowhead hunting. I just happen to love finding sheds!
Yeah I get that for sure. Just got lazy and didn’t edit them last year so just getting them up now. More videos from last year still coming. 2 more then our videos Fromm this year!

We go through the same things on some properties! Walk for miles and miles with not much to show sometimes!

There’s a lot of public land and a lot of very good public at that. One of my biggest sets ever is off Public
44 sheds in 3 days y’all must have 100,000 deer on your land lol
We are very fortunate to have the ground we do. But to be honest about half of our antlers come from public pieces

We’re from Iowa. And our public is hit or miss across the state. We scout a lot to try and find the hidey holes. 28-35 is a REALLY good year though!

We’re in a bunch of different counties. 3 of us in eastern Iowa, 3 in central Iowa and 2 in West Central
