The scheme is the same in almost every country: we study for 6 years (in Vilnius it is 5 years of studies and 1 year of practice, but the proportion may be different in other countries) and 4 to 7 years of medical residency (specialization) depending on a field of medicine. So we start working independently after 10 to 13 years🙈🙈🙈, however, since the study process is quite interesting, that is not a problem for the majority of people😊
