He was still way too nice. Gameplay is robotically atrocious. Glitch animation after glitch animation. The fluidity and control on college 25 is lightyears ahead . Even the graphics took a hit compared to college. Clear difference in reflections and lighting particularly off the helmets.

Yes! I'd even take Game day 05 over this. NFL has done us gaming fans wrong for 20 years. Madden has had the same feel to it for 20 plus years and every game I've tried over the years theres always some issue. I'm shocked they didn't steal any ideas from 2k to make the game more fun and realistic, not feeling like a cartoon game. I've tried madden 24 and it has some fun moments but they need to concentrate on the Franchise, not the 20 other game options that they add to it.

The reality is, heads shouldn't matter anymore. EA Sports FC lets you morph all aspects of a player or managers head which lets you create unique faces, College Football 25 has AI generated heads for players. Being upset at head count like the reviewer is, is missing the forest for the trees imo
Man, it is crazy how NBA 2K11 all the way back in 2010 had fully voiced interviews in the game's MyPlayer mode. While Madden 25 in 2024 has no voiced interviews in superstar mode or in the franchise mode interviews or other events.
The license needs to be given to someone else, this is embarrassing to the NFL, the fact they put their name to this joke for the last 10 years+ now is embarrassing. EA make awful sports games, and the frostbite engine is horrendous.

Remember GREEDY EA/NFL got in a monopoly contract when the competition was as selling their game for $19.99. NFL agreed cause they thought selling a game for $20 to consumers cheapened their brand.

Regarding your comment about the best thing EA could do would be to take 5 years to rebuild it from the ground up, why don’t they have a team that maintains the current iteration while also starting a separate team to create the next iteration and make it fresh? The game doesn’t necessarily need to pause completely, they just need to invest in development and people to make it happen.

Pretty bad when 2k5 and Gameday are the last worthy football games . 2k5 still blows away Madden in every aspect of the game . 2k5 even had a Halftime show with highlights of other games. The people behind the engine of 2k knew what the gaming fans wanted in a game and gave us the most realistic game . Even the gameplay was smoother and that was on a ps2

It just went on sale so I gave it a shot.. it’s actually a good game, I like the main menu, and the gameplay is a big improvement. I was confused on why it seems like so many people hate it. It’s smoother imo lots of negative TH-cam vids now
