My family has a Superbowl party every year. We put the puppy bowl on for the kids in another part of the house. Some adults want to party and enjoy the Superbowl, while others hang with the kids and watch the puppy bowl! I am one of the adults that does not care about the Superbowl and I love watching the Puppy bowl. The kids reactions are all very cute. The Puppy bowl is about getting all the dogs homes and promoting the shelters that provide them. They have a 100% adoption rate and 100% adorable rate! The Puppy bowl is the highest rated show on Animal planet every year and it is all about giving back. I love your channel and thank you for all the laughter!
Rules of puppybowl: •you score a point by getting a toy over the goal (doesn’t matter which side). •all puppies seen are up for adoption •the point of the bowl is to bring attention to the puppies and the shelters involved in the adoptions. For some of them they’ll do a ‘how did they get here’ and show their shelter stories to highlight it a bit more. •in the last few years they’ve also aired the DogBowl where they feature slightly older dogs, or dogs with special needs (like injuries or ones that could be blind or missing a leg) - ones that have a harder time getting adopted just so with the added air time they can help give he adoptions a boost.
Not ashamed to admit that I watched three hours of the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel...and rooted for the Little Longtails team (PS We lost to the Pouncy Panthers).
This is for those of us in the USA who don't want to watch the Super Bowl. It promotes adopting a pet at your local humane society/animal shelter. "Adopt, don't shop," is becoming a motto here in the U.S. All of the animals in the Puppy Bowl are/get adopted, which is wonderful!
Barbara Smith Only problem with that is that adopting is shopping. The one down here in Polk county Florida gets $100 per animal. I was going to take two cats, but screw that.
+Mike L it may seem like a steep price, but all the money goes back towards medicine, food, and shelter maintenance. They can't do any of those things without money. And frankly, it also weeds out people that either can't afford to take care of an animal properly or would only adopt them to abuse them. And it's still cheaper than $1,000+ pedigree animals
This is the Superbowl alternative. I put it on every year. Watch a bit, and then the dog(s) get interested. I had one dog that absolutely loved this. She'd stare, bark, and try to sniff the dogs on the screen.
Y’all took it too literal, they just try to put the dogs on tv for people to see them so they can get adopted. I encourage y’all to go look up cbs morning news puppy bowl 2018, and they explain why they do what all they do. It’s actually pretty amazing how many dogs lives they save, it makes me so happy.
Puppy Bowl has to be taken in context. These guys don't understand what Superbowl Sunday is like. Puppy Bowl is a great break from the actual game. It is totally tongue in cheek and is a way to get people interested in animal adoption.
Tracy Billingsley Correct! Their rather cynical remarks are inappropriate in the context of how american viewers see the show - it's meant to be CUTE - NOT taken seriously! ...
Irish folks don’t over think it...it’s a lighthearted diversion during the super bowl ...people might watch during halftime or commercials ....or if they aren’t football fans
Thanks for another bad haircut, Mom! NoFirstName Hulu adds it on their list, I’m not sure if they add it on air, but on the Hulu edition they add a follow up to show where a lot of them were adopted to, so even more heartwarming after lol
Puppy Bowl is a terrific aversion to the Super Bowl for those of us who aren't into football This one that is airing today (Feb. 4th, 2018) is the 14th year it is on. All the puppies are available for adoption or have been adopted as well as the other animals on the show. .
They're trying to help get them Adopted😎 I really enjoy this channel but sometimes I think you guys should dig a bit deeper into certain topics from America you react to
Re-homed is half of the point. The other is that the Super Bowl is practically a national holiday and if you DON'T want to watch a football game (or if you just need periodic breaks from the hype and the advertising), this is a fun, wholesome alternative that still feels a bit like you're celebrating with the rest of the fans. I'll admit that while the cute factor is high, the Puppy Bowl tends to drag on a bit.
I HATE pro football. In our house, we watch both the Puppy Bowl and the Kitten Bowl to avoid the Super Bowl and all it's bleed over crap. Both foundations are partially sponsored by the cleaning machine company Bissell, with some machines designed for cleaning pet messes, to help further the cause of adoption of shelter pets. Both are great causes, and you way over thought the whole thing. Just chill and enjoy the spoofing. On the other hand, the whole 'profession' of football is overblown, and it makes heros and role models out of undeserving people. Give me a Friday evening at a good high school game over a pro game any day! The different people who started these two special "bowls" work very hard with their foundations to save as many animals as they can, and they do it for no large salaries. Those folks are the kinds of heros our kids need to be brought up to appreciate and proudly emulate.
No one has addressed this: Puppy Bowl is always on the same day as the Superbowl! Initially, it began as an alternative to having to watch four hours of American football. For example, several couples are invited to someone’s home for a Superbowl party, and those who are interested can watch football in one room, while those who aren’t can watch Puppybowl elsewhere, rather than having to congregate in the kitchen. Also typical for this day is to serve pub food/party food/snack food....guacamole with tortilla chips, buffalo wings, pizza, deli sandwiches etc. The supermarkets’ shelves are nearly empty by early evening! It is ALWAYS on a Sunday, and no one looks forward to working the following Monday...unless they’ve just won the office Superbowl pool!
Christian Schnedler yes that's why it randomly cut to "aww they get rehomed? That's not terrible." I can only assume they told them just before the camera cut in.
Yes, best comment possibly ever. And seriously, I can see it as a commercial for something, would it matter? A bunch of dogs in a circle watching Michael Vick and maybe Mike Tyson pit-fighting.
For shame Colin for shame! It's like animal/human cruelty to not allow the contributors to be attacked by lovely floofy puppies at the end of this video
The puppy & kitten bowls are used to find the animals new homes. They are shelter animals. I think it is a great way to find homes for them.
My family has a Superbowl party every year. We put the puppy bowl on for the kids in another part of the house. this needs like 10k likes
When Davey is the positive one, AND realizes it IN the video. lol
Not ashamed to admit that I watched three hours of the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel...and rooted for the Little Longtails team (PS We lost to the Pouncy Panthers).
This show is to help adoption. All those puppies are up for adoptions
Yes! The Puppy Bowl is brilliance! It’s legit been on for over 10 years.
lillyscarlet we have a kitten bowl now!!
Sorry to say, but yes your right.
The Puppy Bowl is to help puppies get adopted and find a forever home! I love it!!!
All of the animals featured on the Bowl are up for adoption!!!!!
There's a kitten bowl too. Kitten Bowl & Puppy Bowl are what I look forward to every year on Superbowl Sunday. They're the best part of it.

I had one dog that absolutely loved this. She'd stare, bark, and try to sniff the dogs on the screen.
This year they've started the Dog Bowl, to promote adoption of older dogs.
I only watch Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday. In fact I have friends who throw Puppy Bowl parties. Favorite thing ever.
Lanibear I desperately want to go to a puppy bowl party.
Better than the actual Superbowl. All those dogs get adopted! It's so awesome
Puppy Bowl is so cute and fun to watch. I look forward to it every year.
I don't understand how anyone can not like the Puppy Bowl. The Puppy Bowl is the best.
All the puppies are from shelters and are up for adoption. It is a good way to showcase them.
The POINT is that all the puppies and kittens, etc are adoptable. It's an adoption audition video.
Yes, thank you. Can't believe they didn't notice/mention that part. Maybe Facts should do an adoption video of its own.
Hypatia4242 I'd adopt some of the facts Irish lads!
+Jenn M - is there a website for that?
Hypatia4242 mannnnnn if there were, I would be broke as hell!
Aww... glad they finally got to be treated to Puppy Bowl, but was hoping they'd be given puppies to hold at the end. So much cuteness!
Puppy Bowl has to be taken in context. These guys don't understand what Superbowl Sunday is like. Puppy Bowl is a great break from the actual game. It is totally tongue in cheek and is a way to get people interested in animal adoption.
Tracy Billingsley Correct! Their rather cynical remarks are inappropriate in the context of how american viewers see the show - it's meant to be CUTE - NOT taken seriously! ...
They do this too get the animals adopted. They come from shelters all acrossed the U.S.
Where oh where is Diane and Chewy??? This was THEIR video!👱♀️🐕
And as if this weren't enough, there's a _kitten_ bowl as _well._
lazyperfectionist1 aaawwwwwww
there's also Kitten Bowl & it's just as adorable
Who would have guessed that Davey likes wholesome entertainment lol
Love videos where david is super hyped about what's going on.
I love Davey with dogs!! It's a horrible ending if Davey isn't holding a puppy!
Actually, the Puppy Bowl has been around for years. I remember watching this as a kid like over a decade ago.
They have this every yr before The Super Bowl It to showcase animals that are up for adoption
There is something magical about the way someone with an Irish accent says the word "Fluff."
Shitting on the field gets you put in the penalty box. Don't think real football players have to deal with that level of scrutiny.
Only reason to watch super bowl Sunday. Puppy bowl. No politics, no kneeling. Just cuteness 100%. I love the puppy bowl every year.
Irish folks don’t over think it...it’s a lighthearted diversion during the super bowl ...people might watch during halftime or commercials ....or if they aren’t football fans
James Peck also all the dogs are up for adoption so it's a good way to help dogs find new homes
There is also a Kitten Bowl too, I think.
There should be as many teams as there are kittens. And as many rulebooks.
I vote for Davey to be the next Puppy Bowl commentator.
Welp thats it you need to bring in a box of puppies and have Davey react
For those of us who despise football, the Puppy Bowl is my savior.
Thanks for another bad haircut, Mom! NoFirstName Hulu adds it on their list, I’m not sure if they add it on air, but on the Hulu edition they add a follow up to show where a lot of them were adopted to, so even more heartwarming after lol
Talongirl333 oh my gosh, thank you. I will look for that.
Ok weakling
“This should be a DLC on Madden.” Wow Davie, wow... I’d probably play it though! 😂😂😂
Love, love, love, love, love this video never seen Davy so happy!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys should watch some of previous years where it was 2 solid hours of just puppies running around and virtually no commenting.
no comment on how cute that little goat was? Thing was freaking adorable
Lmao suspended for fighting Micheal Vick in a barnyard XD
"On two bigger dogs..." JOUSTING! YES! "Holy God, Lads!" My dream come true!
100% adoption rate because of Puppy bowl. I'm so thankful its there, otherwise all I'll be hearing is superbowl blaaa blaaa blaa blaaa
Puppy Bowl is a terrific aversion to the Super Bowl for those of us who aren't into football This one that is airing today (Feb. 4th, 2018) is the 14th year it is on. All the puppies are available for adoption or have been adopted as well as the other animals on the show. .
Irish people would make perfect depressed hipsters in California.
Luis Rivera We don't need them here in CA bumming everybody out. Send them to Seattle.
“This should be a DLC on Madden”.
...oh my god...how is that not a thing already?
The cats and kittens are the half time show. It’s a cute alternative for those who are sick of the Super Bowl hype.
I look forward to watching the Puppy Bowl every year .... it’s the only time of year when I am sure I am not a robot 🤖
Them: "A knights tail, oh were geniuses, lol"
Someone at sony pictures animation: "Wright that shit down!"
part of me hopes Facts will adopt an office puppy and then have the Facts puppy in the majority of the videos ('cus puppies
They're trying to help get them Adopted😎 I really enjoy this channel but sometimes I think you guys should dig a bit deeper into certain topics from America you react to
It was mentioned at the beginning, that's what "re-homed" means.
Totally watched hours of the Puppy Bowl earlier today. Watch it every year
I HATE pro football. In our house, we watch both the Puppy Bowl and the Kitten Bowl to avoid the Super Bowl and all it's bleed over crap. Well you and your family are the olny ones in that category thank God LOL.
THE_GHOST_RICAN. If we were, those two programs wouldn't be such ratings smashes. Now put your finger down. You're advertising your single digit IQ.
Nah. We watch the puppy bowl in our house, too. Not every American is obsessed with football.
Danni Shadow Awesome! I'm considering having a Puppy Bowl party next year.🐕🐈
Awwwww Davey is soooooo happy! That's even cuter than the puppies!
I met all three of these people in one night. So these people + puppies and kittens = fucking amazing 👌👍❤️😂
Watch our kittens in Kitten Bowl V!
Haha I watch this every year on Animal Planet.
You think that's something, wait till you see the Kitten Bowl....😺🐱
When we have parties we tell kids that if they go outside and leave us alone until halftime, then we‘ll put this on.
This is what i watch instead of the actual super bowl
Roselle Gamez sane go team ruff
Roselle Gamez same
Omg you guys seriously should have brought them out a puppy!! One of them would have cried lmao
Take all of my money. Take it all whoever makes a knights tale with puppies! I would go to the theater a thousand times!
No one has addressed this: Puppy Bowl is always on the same day as the Superbowl! Initially, it began as an alternative to having to watch four hours of American football. I thought it had started as a half hour alternative to the halftime show.
"Was the puppy suspended for fighting Michael Vick's in a barnyard?" LMAO
so wholesome. yes puppers.
This is the second most watched show on Superbowl Sunday (after the Superbowl). So, it's insanely popular!
My dog lives to watch puppy bowl!
that’s hilarious, my wife is watching the same thing...right now! hahahaha
I love the puppy 🐶 bowl I never miss it!!!...😱😆🥰💯❤️😎☺️😄😀😘😃😍😊😛😝🐕
I watch it every year!!!
OMG! You heard them, Colin! More puppies!
Were they not told that they use the popularity of Super Bowl to get all these dogs adopted?
Christian Schnedler yes that's why it randomly cut to "aww they get rehomed? That's not terrible." I can only assume they told them just before the camera cut in.
the puppy bowl is the only good thing about football as a whole
The ONLY thing cuter than the FACTS crew? P U P P I E S ! ! !
HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA suspended for fighting Vick’s in a barnyard!!
Yes, best comment possibly ever. And seriously, I can see it as a commercial for something, would it matter? A bunch of dogs in a circle watching Michael Vick and maybe Mike Tyson pit-fighting.
I just finished watching this years Puppy Bowl :D
I love the way Bla says “puppies” when she mentioned the comments section 💕😍💕
You didn't use Chewie and Dianne for this? Missed opportunity FACTS. 😔
I watch the puppy bowl every year too
It's funny how they are trying so hard to be cynical, but they aren't very convincing. LOL
God damn, just enjoy it for what it is and quit analyzing or criticizing it.
The whole purpose of a react channel is to analyze what they are watching lol it's the only reason they exist
people do actually watch this. some of us really hate football.
I fall into the catagory I hate football but love the puppy bowl
Really should've handed them puppies at the end. Wow that was a wasted opportunity
David knows his NFL!
Yeah. I was impressed about his knowledge of American sports and knows a thing or two about baseball. Enough to mention Darryl Strawberry.
The Gray yeah, I'd let him throw a shot in me
Dude i watch the puppy bowl every year
I always hear about the Puppy Bowl but I had no idea it had gotten so elaborate.
Thanks for doing this... This needs to be an annual event, for facts that is...
For shame Colin for shame! It's like animal/human cruelty to not allow the contributors to be attacked by lovely floofy puppies at the end of this video
My puppy would love to come over and meet the Facts team.
Davey found something he likes!!!
Hes Drunk! Hes Pissed! Hell see you in the list! PUPKINSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEN!
You missed the perfect opportunity to bring chewy back into the facts channel! For shame!
I care way more for the Puppy Bowl than the NFL game on today... I’ll go back to binge watching *”The Wire”* now tho... I regret nothing.
Less violence on The Wire, at least.
Awesome as always! Ya'll are awesome!
There was a 3 month old Dachshund my friend's party yesterday-super cute!
Irish people watch Twin Peaks (Original Series, FWWM, Missing Pieces, Season 3)
I watch the puppy bowl every year tbh
