    Can you please let us know the apprach to prepare the work load model if a totally new application comes for performance testing and we don't have such numbers let say the required number of transactions (TPH) or Vusers.

      Hi Sudhir,
      For a new application, you need to apply Step-up test approach.

      @@PerfMatrix Thanks for the response. In one of the interview I was asked if this is the approach then what should be the ideal response time of each of the application pages. Let say it is a banking application. Could you please provide your thoughts on this.

    I am going to implement a Load test using JMETER on our current project, where our target concurrent user is 100000. Can you please suggest to me that how to create a workload model as per this requirement?

    • @PerfMatrix
      @PerfMatrix  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Better to use distributed testing: www.perfmatrix.com/jmeter-distributed-testing/
      Before answering your question, please let me know are you testing on 100% production environment?

      @@PerfMatrix yes, because our test environment is hosted on the local server, So to get the proper result we will do it directly on the Production environment.

    How to write work load model for multiple functions

    • @PerfMatrix
      @PerfMatrix  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      workload modelling is used for multiple business scenarios. May I know what you are referring as a 'function'?

    I have 4 years of Experience in performance... After 3 years of gap am very much afraid to join back... Can the same workload model and test plan can be used for all... How many users should ramp sir..

    • @PerfMatrix
      @PerfMatrix  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to take it as a reference and design workload model and test plan as per actual project requirement.

    Sir, Why you take 24 second as a response time in the equation, plz replay fast

    • @PerfMatrix
      @PerfMatrix  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is an arbitrary value, considering I ran the script for 1 iteration without think time and it took 24 seconds to complete 1 iteration.

      You can use concurrency thread group.
