Yes it was a high quality movie, I'm impressed to see Hero's martial arts performance. Wilson Tong was a martial arts director. Martial arts direction was fine. Filip ko and Wilson Tong were in this movie. They are both martial arts legends.from Bangladesh
RIP to my boy Fung Hak Oh he and Wilson Tong aka the Foot-doctor are two of my favorite martial arts bad guys. After Lu Feng aka the Centipede and Ching Yi Wang Jin Lee Johnny Wang ect.
This is the kind of movie that brings me back to the days when we watched movies on 42nd Street then we would try copying the moves on the train ride home
Instead of school sometimes, we’d spend all day on forty doo wop , watching these movies then take E train home ,eating blimpies , drinking Olde English
Toledo Ohio we had a theater called Pantheon theater and made so karate movies for the kids on the weekend in the day and they had a basement for the kids to play also so we'll watch a karate movie and of course go down to the basement on break time to be assured like two three karate movies and like a dollar going to basement and start doing karate on each other afterwards have karate shoes the girls would sit there and watch us
U was there to on 42nd street 24 hour movies kung fu and u can go from theater to theater and watch..all that is gone .it's Disney world now.thst was n.y in the 80s and 90s ..love your comment fellow old school newyorker

You don't have to be drunk to use the Drunken Fist style, unlike in many other Kung Fu movies where the main character always grabs a jar of liquor before they can use the style. (Eg. Wong Fei-Hong in the movie Once Upon A Time in China 2 and Drunken Master starring Jackie chan)
That's funny I remember going to the theaters on 42nd St after college to see 2 or 3 kung full movies just like this one.
