It's not sad. It's a reality of life. You expect good things from those professing to be decent people. In fact we demand it. If a decent looking suited man addressed you disrespectfully, most people will react negatively but if it was a stinking crackhead, most people will ignore it and walk away. Also think about this. If a white area has lot of crime, will the residents of that area go and pressure the criminals to stop committing crime or are they pressuring government and police.
What's sad is people not expecting black people to demand any responsibility from public services.

Sad situation. I do find it strange how we come together more when police kill us vs one of our own. I think we need to reverse a lot of hypnosis done on us throughout history. Big up poundz cause he’s speaking facts, it’s so unfortunate the death of this man but he should have known the potential prejudice in that moment. My separate gripe is as a community we need to stop having a victim mentality which resorts to moving towards criminal behaviour. That’s completely understandable choice to make 20-30 years ago when knowledge was scarce and opportunities where low but today I’m sorry but if you do these things it’s a choice there has never been a time when our culture have been more in charge of their narrative. We all come from a certain place that does not excuse the choices people make. Take responsibility for your direction and your life.

Remember the officer who got acquitted, did so with the jury having no knowledge of chris' background. That information only came out because a judge lifted the order for his background be not be revealed. His mum tried to get that order to remain so that info wouldn't have been available for at least a few years but the judge rejected this request.
We can sit here right now and say this and say that, but at the end of the day he shouldn't have done what he done trying to ram his way out. That car was followed for 15 minutes from camberwell to tulse Hill where they tried to stop him. The car was linked to not 1, not 2, but 3 shootings hence the heavy handed tactics used. We are not police, we cannot sit here and say oh, should have shot his tires, should have tased him etc, its embarrassing. Mad itch is actually a real indication of his character. The cctv footage was cold was hell, the way he pops the strap one time so calmly, this guy was calculated and a very dangerous man. It's sad that he chose to go out the way he did because for you to have a bag of armed feds pointing their guns at you, you must be mad to try ram you way out. I mean as a gunman, in your heard, you must really know when the armed feds come knocking they ain't pointing guns to scare or tickle you are they.
If anyone has done jury service or been involved in a case before, you will know just how much evidence and arguments are presented at trial. Most of the opinions people seem to have is based of emotions rather than facts. Bringing race and murder into question. It's embarrassing to even be in conversation with people who have this mentality, common sense is seriously not common any more.
RIP Itch but it should have never ended this way. Not only has he lost his life, the officer involved has also lost his life he had. He can never live a normal life for himself and his family ever again. This country has been soft and always will be and criminals think they can do whatever they want. If it's so bad here go be a criminal in another country and see how far you get. If you ever been stopped by armed feds, let's not pretend you're a normal guy working an admin role with no links to crime whatsoever. The logic of these arguents is so flawed and blinded by your angry and hurt emotions rather than what it really is. The truth hurts, and it really goes to show here.

Pounds broke this down like he was reciting ABCDEFG... Many young people are raised by hard working, religious and law abiding parent(s), yet whilst their parents toil to make ends meet, some children succumb to the seemingly lucrative and hazardous allure of the streets and crime - it is a dichotomy fuelled by the universal goal we are taught from birth to present, to be successful. The CCTV footage released by the police provides a clearer view of Chris’s life. Sadly, he lived by the gun and died by it. The key message here is to stay away from street life-it offers false promises and is ultimately a dangerous path.

Some interesting points here, but implying that an armed response unit shooting someone who refused to comply is evidence of racism is borderline dishonesty. We're not America, it's not standard procedure for police officers to carry guns. When armed police turn up to tye scene the argument about apprehension is on it's way out of the building and the only way to get it back is to comply.

In the words of Ghetts “do your research”! Guantanamo bay was horrific and there is plenty of evidence of torture including 3 deaths so that’s a wild take.
You are right police are here to serve and protect. Chris Kaba was on madness, the police knew that. It’s sad someone has lost their life but as a black male I’m not sure what he was expecting. He was aware of the life he lived and I would say it was arrogance/naivety which allowed him to think he could do what he did without being shot. Most people stop and put their hands up in that situation.

Condolences to the family because they lost someone they loved and are operating from a place of plain. However justice was served in this case his criminal past and the events of the night before were not presented to the jury. This mad was ramming his car into police in an attempt to escape. When they said hands up, he had one hand still on the wheel, then rammed the car forward seconds later.

@@buyop9441 let me dumb it down for you since your not smart enough there was an stabbing murder of an British MP in a church by a African man of Somalian origin(look it up) is it fair to say that a black person stabbed that person to death or a Somalian who did that is it fair for people who are from Jamaica for example who are majority Christians to take the blame just because you share a melanated complexion like I said there is no such thing as black in the UK

If you ever been hard stopped T-pack etc then you know the officers are always erratic so you need to be calm in them situations or you will more than likely get bun by them especially if your known for carrying certain tings

Sorry I have to say not separate yourself. Do something different, something better for yourself and your family and their future. We cant talk about Police killing us if we're killing ourselves. If the police stop you get out of your car first because you know what's going to happen. Do better stop the road man bullshit.
